Couldn’t have loved this hotel more! Perfectly located with easy access to everything. I took my 8 year old daughter for her 1st trip to Paris & this was way more magical that Disney could ever hope to be. Room was tiny but perfectly appointed with all we needed & easy access to outlets so charging devices was a breeze. We walked everywhere & there was still more to explore within easy walking distance of the hotel. Pastries, crepes, macarons, falafel...everything felt like it was only a few steps away- treat yourself to a vacation in this little jewel of a hotel!

My wife and I recently returned to the Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais for two nights en route to vacation in Morocco. It is, as so many other reviewers have written, elegant and charming, with antiques throughout. Our room, facing the back, was very quiet; I can't speak for rooms facing the street where nightlife may run late. Breakfast is not included, but is terrific and strongly recommended. The hotel is marvelously located for Parisian tourists in the heart of the Marais, easy walking distance to the Isle de la Cite, Notre Dame, the Louvre, etc. The one concession you have to make to enjoy charming and elegant is that the rooms are SMALL and the bathrooms are smaller. But you're not coming to this lovely property to hang out in your room! There is wifi, of course, and the delightful proprietors are fluent English speakers. We've stayed here before and will certainly do so next time we're in Paris.

After much research, I chose the Caron de Beaumarchais for our Paris 8 night stay. My adult daughter and I shared a room overlooking the main street. With two single beds, we had ample space. (My daughter and I appreciated the bedside plug and USB adaptors.) The location is ideal, with cafes, shops, metro stops, and bridges over the Seine just minutes away. It's a tiny place - and the optional breakfast is uninspiring - but the lovely 18th century environment (lovely classical music in common areas), clean rooms/baths, and a most patient and helpful staff make this hotel ideal.

The position is perfect to fully enjoy the Marais quarter, the hotel is very close to brasseries, delicious boulangeries and lovely places to have coffees and croissants oustide. There are interesting bookshops, pastry and chocolate shops near it, there are two metro stations only five minutes to the hotel ( saint paul station and hotel de ville station) also, you can very easily find electric cars to rent. The hotel is a cozy jewel and everyone passing by can't help but staring at it because the colors and the upholstery bring you immediately in the XVIII century, that's why it's a very Instagrammable hotel. The personnel is very kind and helpful, if you get the room with the balcony you can have breakfast outside while enjoying the view on the street. A very important and noticeable thing is that is a pet friendly hotel obviously if your pet is educated and this brings five stars to this hotel. One more important thing about it is that it's very clean and the shower is perfect, especially after you've been outside the whole day, a perfectly working shower is what every tourist needs and many clean towels every day. The bath set is from Acqua di Parma, there are various pills, the room is very clean, comfy and cozy. Our stay was just perfect,I hope to come there back soon!

+1
This is an outstanding Parisian hotel. It's not just in Paris, it says Paris in every way. Words like authentic, character, decor, and charm immediately come to mind.
I stayed here six nights in May of 2023. The location couldn't be better. The people who work here, including the wonderful owner who often checks you in personally, are smart, knowledgeable, charming, helpful, and efficient. Everyone speaks perfect English. I couldn't ask for anything more in a small hotel that screams PARIS.
My room was small, as many of the older Paris hotels are, while quite suitable with an antique desk, chandelier, art, very comfortable bed, well stocked bathroom and windows with flower boxes overlooking the street. I loved it!
The room was clean, the area is very safe, the lobby is open 24/7 and you can find most anything in walking distance -- sidewalk cafes, boutiques, boulangeries, patisseries, and a jazz club literally steps away.
The cost is very reasonable and a great value in this highly coveted area of Le Marais. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again the next time I return to Paris.

This hotel is sooooo pretty! I delighted in the floral patterns, fresh rose bouquets, lovely pictures, towels with the image of Caron de Beaumarchais (a fascinating character of the eighteenth century) and other delicate details. We stayed five nights, The quiet room, modern bathroom, comfortable bed, and fastidious cleanliness were all appreciated. I had thought it might be of the shabby chic genre too good to be true. But no, everything was freshly new or old with beautiful patinas and well-polished. It was even more charming than the fancy layout in the Victoria magazine just before Covid hit that attracted me. The lobby is inviting in the way of a small intimate salon. To add to this vibe of being home or a treasured guest were the friendly greetings whenever we went through. The location is handy to the Metro and walking in the Marais as well as the Isle de Cite. I do not care for subterranean dining no matter how elegant and well done which is what it was so for breakfasts we visited a nearby bakery that had seating and enjoyed people watching. The airlines misplaced our luggage. We are not fluent in French. The hotel staff was so helpful coming to our rescue, calling the airlines daily and reporting back to us. When we asked them to hang on to it should it arrive while we were in a remote area of France, they gladly accepted delivery and contacted us. They securely stored it and we picked it up before flying home twelve days into our trip. We have stayed in many Parisian hotels but we will return to this one. If you have a romantic notion of Paris or just want a friendly, comfortable, quiet, fairly priced, well-located hotel than Hotel Caron De Beaumarchais is for you.

We loved the atmosphere of this petit hotel. The bedroom was small but absolutely stunning for the the interior decor, the table on the balcony with a view of Parisian roofs and pink roses in a small vase was just perfection. Highly recommend!

I just stayed here for five nights with my sister and my one and a half year-old daughter. The staff especially Etienne and Allen were so kind and helpful and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. Although the rooms were small, they were really cute and the beds were comfortable and the staff even offered to let us keep a few of our larger belongings downstairs so that we would have more room in our room (the baby car seat and stroller). They brought us up warm milk in the morning and at night for my daughter’s bottle and they included a Nuna brand pack and play bed in the room which I thought was really nice compared to other baby beds at other hotels. Would definitely recommend to stay here ❤️

So happy to have discovered this wonderfully cosy and beautifully decorated hotel in the heart of the Marais. There are great bars and restaurants within walking distance and the metro is just around the corner. Our room looked out on the inner courtyard and there was no street noise at all so we slept like babies! The breakfast was fab, with good gluten free goodies. We will definitely return.

We took an anniversary trip to Paris in September and decided to stay here. Our experience was so delightful that I don't think we'll ever stay anywhere else in Paris.
The hotel decor is just as charming in real life as it is in all the photos and we thoroughly enjoyed spending our mornings eating breakfast on the little balcony in our room. If you are looking for a dreamy, romantic, aesthetically pleasing place to stay, look no further.
Beyond the look of the hotel, we very much appreciated the customer service! The staff was very friendly and made us feel right at home. Everyone we encountered was incredibly helpful and they all spoke English fluently (very helpful for us since my French is limited to a few months of practice on Duolingo). The room was kept very clean and the breakfast was delicious. If you stay there, be sure to order a breakfast tray at least once! We thoroughly enjoyed it and there was more than enough food on one tray for both of us to share.
As a bonus, the location couldn't be better. Thanks to its proximity to the metro station, we were able to very quickly get to every single major sight in the city. There are terrific restaurants, bakeries, shops, and even a jazz club all within a block's walking distance.
Friendly staff, great location, delicious breakfast, and a beautiful hotel. If you're looking for a perfect stay in Paris, look no further than Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais.

There is a small elevator. If you book in advance you may be able to choose your room. The rooms are tiny - but they have everything you need - even ports to charge your phone and the wifi was decent.
Has anyone stayed there in the summer? If so, how were there any problems with the air conditioning?
I stayed there in June 2018. Excellent A/C. Outside, hot as HELL!
Not sure, but I would also guess no.
The hotel is in a great location. It is a five minute walk to the Ile de la Cite (Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle); maybe 10 or so minutes to the Louvre. It is in the Marais which is a great area that includes the Picasso Museum, tons of restaurants, cafes etc as well as boulangeries, cheese shops, wine shops, fruit shops, etc. The hotel is also a five minute walk to the Metro and a bus stop is around the corner.
Hi,
Absolutely!! It's perfect locationwise. Quick walk to Notre Dame, cafes and restaurants there, the Marais, Saint Germain, the Louvre. You'll probably need to take the Metro or Uber or a cab to get to the Eiffel Tower unless you really like long walks. The Velibe or public bicycle system is another option.
