I've been lucky enough to stay at Le Pavillon des Lettres several times over the last five years, both for business and also quick solo trips. The team here, with beautiful staff managed by Benoit are truly wonderful and it's a pleasure to see them again each time I stay. I like this part of Paris, especially when I'm working....

My best friend and I came here for a week in April 2017 and we really loved this charming boutique hotel. The room itself (room "Q") was small for two people (two girls with a lot of luggage and cumulatively more shopping bags as the week went on). However, that was entirely my fault for selecting the room that I...

My general view is that Paris hotels are expensive and generally of average quality. This hotel is not that. I have recently found this hotel and have stayed on two different occasions and seen different rooms. On the most recent occasion, I arrived from an overnight flight from South Africa and arrived at the hotel at 6AM. They where full...

Pluses: - Each room of the hotel is named after an author and comes with a book by that author. We got Zola, though we couldn't read our book because it was in French! - Molton Brown toiletries - Wonderful food, including "tapas hour" in afternoon (meat/cheese and alcohol) and scrumptious buffet breakfast - Walking distance to most must-see locations...

Upon arrival, I instantly fell in love with this hotel. I was a bit apprehensive at first when booking as a few reviews had mentioned noise at night from the English pub below...however I can assure you all, there was no noise for us to even comment on, and the pub is actually very lovely! Everything about our stay was...

Having just twenty six rooms, this small boutique hotel is tastefully furnished with an individual design and packs a real punch for the price. The price is reasonable for the high standards and the location is excellent, being minutes away from the heavily guarded Élysée Palace thus creating a feeling of safety in the area. I tend to think that...

The hotel is perfectly situated in a fairly quiet street close to Le Palais de L'Élysée/ Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and it's a great base for walking to the Champs-Élysées or to Palais Garnier/ Galleries Lafayette or Jardin des Tuileries/ Louvre. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Le Pavillon des Lettres... The 1st Paris literary hotel! In the image of the 26 letters of the alphabet, the rooms and suites of the Pavillon des Lettres reveal the beauty and poetry of the various authors. Behind each door hides the spirit of a poet, a writer, an impassioned virtuoso, a genius, which will give a special atmosphere to the room, with the help in particular of extracts chosen and printed on the walls. A few steps from the Champs-Elysees, the Pavillon des Lettres opens the doors of Paris fashion and trends to you. It is excellently located close to the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore, symbol of haute couture and refinement and composed of art galleries, embassies and luxury shops. At the heart of the prestigious neighbourhood of the Elysee Palace and Place Beauvau, the Sotheby's and Christies galleries, just a few steps from the Place de la Concorde and the Grand Palais, the Pavillon des Lettres breathes luxurious elegance and the muffled charm of the great houses. ... more   less
