There is no doubt that the location of the HI - Notre Dame is FABULOUS, within walking distance to Notre Dame and the Lovre, hop on hop off bus and the scenic river cruises. The Latin quarter is alive at all hours and is amazing....More
Friendly staff who helped at every opportunity. The rooms are well done, and as small as you would expect from an old hotel in Paris. The views at sunset from the roof are incredible, but equally the lower floors with balcony's give a great view...More
Just in from our European travels, and saved the best for last. We had an extraordinary long stay booked for 9 days here back in August. I had made reservations over six months prior after looking into TA reviews and several places to stay in...More
We have stayed in this hotel twice before but could not believe how downhill it had gone. For two days in a row our room was not made up and cleaned until after 4 pm. I know this seems unreasonable but we are seasoned travellers...More

I stayed here for my second trip to Paris and last weekend in a Madrid to Paris short tour. The hotel was very nice. The front desk staff could have been a bit nicer but most of the confusion was due to our mistake anyway....More
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this
area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
It is not free. We opted to use a company called BT-Transfer. They met us at the airport armed with our name on a sign. Very professional; we were pleased with the service. We had an empty fridge in the room.
