When I arrived I was told there was a room ready on the 1st floor, and asked if this was ok, I said "why would it not be?" and was told some people just dont like to be on the first floor. So I said ok then its fine, BIG MISTAKE, as I was above the bar's outdoor terrace..... why...

Friendly greeting on arrival and the staff, despite knowing I was English didn't immediately break into English despite the fact I was speaking French. Room was great size and very comfortable with decent sized bed and plenty of pillows. All the AV was via an Apple Imac which worked and the free films were a bonus. Wifi worked seamlessly and...

Mama shelter is as far from what the name sounds like as it can get. This is a really really nice modern hotel with fancy artwork on walls, a cozy hotel bar, amazing restaurant and up to date rooms with iMacs filled with free entertainment such as a wide range of movies (did I tell u it's free of charge)....

It is really over the top, so if you are looking for a traditional hotel experience, you may want to look elsewhere... but if you are design oriented and have a good sense of humor you will enjoy a stay "on the dark side..." I did! Everything in the communal spaces and the room was funky, funny or just fun....

We stayed here the night before flying back to the US because of the distance from the airport. Unique hotel, very modern and a little quirky but in a very good/cool way. Restaurant and bar was very lively later in the evening, and they have a pizza oven that was turning out some very nice looking pizza. Seemed a local...

Need somewhere to stay in Paris? This is it. Great place, quirky and different, in a cool way. Staff are very helpful and polite and speak good English. Also the food in the restaurant is good, and you should book a table on arrival as it gets busy.

Quirky hotel with great service and a great atmosphere. Nice somewhat unusual training room and environment. Fantastic food (though a lot of wastage). Bedroom a little dark - a master light would be useful to override the lamps occasionally.

Great decor and cool spin of the hospitality concept with a refreshing and humorous approach. Service is relaxed and friendly, but it could be a bit more efficient. I have not tried the restaurants and unfortunately the rooftop bar was closed... it would be great to heat it up in winter like the majority of sidewalk bistros in the city....

We visited the pizzeria after a recommendation from a local - we were not disappointed! The menu is fairly small for pizzas and nit many starters to choose from - however the pizzas were excellent and great value for money. After we had dinner, we moved over to the bar which was part of the main restaurant - we sat...

I am travelling to Paris for business trip so I decided to arrive 2 days earlier to see Paris. I booked my accommodation here in Mama Shelter as this is where our group is booked anyway. The service upon check-in was good, nothing exemplary. The accommodation itself is really pricey for it's location. The room size is decent and the...
