Our 1st stay in Bastia on a tour across the island. A good choice: a short walk to restaurants, a really nice breakfast, a nice room with aircon, seperate shower room, and WC, and a minibar fridge. Plenty of sockets, plenty of clothes storage, comfy bed. I would avoid the underground car park unless you have a VERY small car -although it's perfect for motorbikes/bicycles, we had a Peugeot 208 and that was a heck of a stressful thing to get into & out of! There is a free car park behind the supermarket at the end of the block -a mere 5 min stroll away.

Walked in and they gave us a room upgrade. Nice start. Rooms were large and clean. They had a fridge and towel warmer which none of the other hotels had so we could finally dry our towels after a day at the beach. International tv stations. Toilet separate from bathroom with a nice big shower. Definitely recommend it

We had a fabulous stay at the Hotel Port Toga. The reception staff could not have been any more helpful. The room was spacious and clean and the rooftop pool was really lovely and a great place to spend the hot part of the day. A very easy walk into the main town for dinner. We loved our stay - thank you :)

We stayed for two nights (without breakfast). The room is nice, not too big but enough space for a few days. They have a nice rooftop with a pool (unfortunately it wasn’t open yet / end of March) The hotel is not too far from the city center. The staff is friendly. Right next to the hotel there’s a wonderful bakery and a small shop with products from Corse. We arrived early and was asked if we wanted the room earlier. That would have costed 40 EUR extra..

We had a good ferry crossing from Nice and the hotel was easy to find at the vehicle exit from the port.Into the reception where we were checked in by a pleasant English speaking young lady. A lift took us up to our room which was on the front of the hotel overlooking the port The room was a good size with a large bed. The separate toilet and bathroom were clean and bright. The next morning we explored the hotel and found a rooftop swimming pool with a bright breakfast room next to it. There was a small bar here as well as one in the reception. A separate restaurant was situated next to the hotel We stayed here 3 nights and found all the staff we met were excellent. The hotel is at the quieter part of Bastia but not too far to walk into the centre. This was a good introduction to Corsica and highly recommended..

Hotel Port Toga is very well located at the Port and Bastia's shopping/restaurant district -- it is quite new, so the facility is in great, modern condition, and the restaurant "Le Quotidien" is directly accessible from the hotel lobby. Parking is limited, but very secure and under cover (hint: ask in advance to reserve a spot). Staff is excellent, from Reception to Housekeeping -- all very responsive to requests for service and area information. When in Bastia, I will certainly hope to stay at the Hotel Port Toga again!!

Very dissappointed in this stay. Payed ca. 150 for a 2 persoon room (1 night) with 12 euro pp breakfast. Our worst breakfast we had during our 10 day Corsica stay. Max worth 4-5 euros. Very small, totally not covid-proof buffet, dirty coffee and juice machine + very cramped and busy to eat. The pool is way too small for the number of rooms (it does offer a nice view though) and the pool water was not clean (felt dirty/sticky and you saw all kinds of things floating around). Also way to small and cramped seating area around the pool. We had a large room, but felt like a hospital room, just not as clean. Dust if you look around a bit and dirty finger and handprints on a lot of surfaces and almost all doors in the hotel. The elevator was also a joke. Way to small, slow and only one for the entire hotel. So you could wait easily for 10 minutes. Escalator was easy enough though. Parking garage is paying extra and only doable for cars with a max lenght of 430cm, because of the extremely narrow turnoff in the lot. Also had to wait 15 minutes for hot water in our shower (when we called the reception there came someone withing 5 minutes, so that is great but it was already solved by itself then). When we told our feedback during check-out we just got a weird look and not much more. Totally not up to standard for this quotation. Location is close to the city center, so at least you have that.

Yes, the hotel is situated right in front of the Corsica Ferries Terminal. BUT: If you wanna park in the hotel's underground parking, it costs you approx. €10 and if you come with 2 motorbikes you have to rent 2 spaces (instead of both on 1 space). Such nonsense! Then, there was no cold water in the shower, only warm and hot and the white bed sheets had stains. Consider your options.

Response from Dominique GIUDICELLI, Directeur général at Hotel Port Toga
Responded 26 Jun 2021
Dear Dino, Thank you for your feedback. First of all we would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused by the parking. At arrival, the receptionists clearly stated the cost of the parking at 9.00€/spot. Whenever your 2 motorbikes are small enough to fit on 1 spot, we are pleased to let you park that way. Should you motorbikes be too big for 1 spot, you are indeed asked to pay for 2 parking places. Furthermore, we would have been very happy to help you use the thermostat in the shower to let you get some cold water, should we be aware of your difficulties. We are finally sorry about the sheets that we would be pleased to change if we would have been warned of the stains. Kind regards, The Reception

We stayed on the 4th. floor with a view overlooking the port. The room was clean and the facilities were adequate for our 3 night stay. The staff were lovely and very helpful and check in and out was very efficient. There is parking in the hotel but we chose to park on the street for free and it wasn’t a major issue, the entrance to the hotel parking lot is very tight and would be a bit of a problem for a large car. We didn’t use the breakfast facilities but the breakfast room looked very pleasant. Our only issue with the room facilities was the lack of any type of milk to go with the coffee or tea, there was no ice available at all and no glasses provided. The hotel is very accessible to the airport, a 25 min. easy drive, and convenient for the town and coast. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel for a short break in beautiful Corsica.

Great hotel with friendly staffs! Located in front of the port. Strategic and very convenient. Parking was in front of the property and free. Lobby was quite small but very nice & cute with big bathrooms. The room and bathroom were huge & spacious (they gave us triple room). Very neat and clean. Good lighting too. Toilet is separated from the main bathroom like Dutch culture. Amenities are good too! AC works well as the towel warmer. Great view from the rooftop. We didn't take breakfast as we wanted to have breakfast in the main square. We came back to the hotel all wet after going around the city and they let us use the bathroom to change clothes and shoes! This hotel is highly recommended!
