We needed an overnight stop in Bastia, as our adult son and daughter had an early flight the following day, and picked this hotel as it has good transport connections and most importantly, on-site parking. It's location is on the southern outskirts of the town: walking to the old town would be a bit of a trek in the heat, but the super-helpful receptionist very kindly pointed out where we could get a bus. Sadly, I didn't get her name, but the receptionist on duty when we arrived on 8th September, was one of the most friendly and helpful I've ever met (also speaking fluent English). We loved the design of our rooms with their vaulted ceilings, and the hotel has beautiful gardens, which make a pleasant green space around the hotel. None of us used the gym, but it was spacious and well-equipped and the adjacent spa pool was very inviting. We didn't eat at the hotel, but had drinks on the terrace when we returned after exploring the old town. The terrace is a lovely spot, but the road noise was a little intrusive. Breakfast was an excellent buffet, with staff on hand to assist (you can have your own omelette cooked to order!) …

We did not book the hotel in advance, but decided to come and look around on the spot. Before we got to Ostella, we visited several hotels in Bastia, but did not like really any of them. When we finally entered Ostella, it feels like love at first sight. An oasis, with a wonderful patio with a waterfall, a modern gym, a swimming pool, tall palm trees all around. Quite and peaceful after the noisy Bastia. The hotel has very professional staff, including 3 angels: Chiara, Lidia and Clara. Thanks for your care and attention! The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious with a very stylish Mediterranean design. We slept like babies. Cleaning is impeccable. Breakfast level of a five-star hotel: very varied, there is everything for every taste. We enjoyed every minute spent here. Definitely, I left my heart in this hotel.…

The Staff was very friendly, and also spoke English, what makes it easier to communicate. It has Convenient location with free parking (private and public) and is located near a big supermarket. Great indoor pool. Size, outdoor for sun, and jacuzzis. Good rooms. Didn’t try the breakfast

What a nice place to stay ! The staff was friendly and helpfull, the room was excellent and the restaurant really good. We had a “menu du jour” which was really good. Breakfast was extraordinary with a chef on hand to prepare delicious omelets. 5 stars!

Friendly staff, breakfast seems to be too expensive at 22€ per person . Parking convenient. Rather noisy surroundings. Bed for the kid was placed in the room without it had been ordered, not a problem if the charge hadn’t been 10€.

A first rate hotel situated a short distance by bus from the centre of Bastia and a short walk to the local railway station. It is next to an industrial estate, but that is no problem, indeed the large Centre Leclerc supermarket and shops are an advantage. Some noise on the balcony from the T11 dual carriage way, about 150m away. The beach is about 15 mins walk. Fine sand but pebbles in the water. As you cannot cross the T11 dual carriage way, there is a way which involves going to the railway station, walking about 150m along by the tracks and down some steps onto the beach. A very well frequented footpath used by the locals ! Good sized room with tea making facilities, balcony, bathroom and toilet. There is no fridge in the room, but the staff offered the services of a "cool room", which was a great help The facilities are excellent : a heated indoor swimming pool and jaccussi. (The sauna was closed when we were there). Note, that the steps into the pool are at the 2M deep end. There are not any at the 1.6M shallow end ! Execellent fitness centre with a range of equipment and a small garden for sun bathing. Staff very helpful and friendly. Fantastic service. Would stay here again.…

We stayed here for 1 night while we had to catch a ferry. We were pleasantly surprised with the location/parking availability/pool. & they have a restaurant on site! We traveled with our baby & they provided a baby bed for us as well. Super accommodating!

All in this very nice hotel is making to be in service for the guests and with the filling for details - spacious rooms with balcony in bright colours, equipped with all you need. The breakfast was delisious. We ate several times in the restaurant at the hotel and it was very tastful! But the big profit are the peaple working there - very kindly, helpful with all! We thank everyone! We would like to say specially thank to Chiara from the reception, who is very professional and do great job!! She listen very good, give you all information you need it and advice if you ask it for. Thank you Chiara!! If we come to Bastia we will stay at this hotel again!

There was private parking available near the hotel, stuff was nice . Kids used the poll where were also accesories for the smallest and exit to the garden. We did not use restaurant facilities since we came in in the evening and departure early in the morning before breakfast..
