Most has been said in other reviews. Located very central, but within someone elses appartment! Parking ist difficult though. The owners are extremely friendly and like to communicate, with poor englisch, but you´ll get along. We went there with 3 kids, they each got a toy as a present. This is not a real chambre d'hote. It is a 4th-floor apartment in a very old and squalid building in centre Bastia. You need to be prepared to sleep at Louis's home, where he stands on a sofa at the entrance. You won't have your own key. There is no elevator but there is a sort of a crane to...

Yes it has no lift (but they have a winch, just walk up and tell'em you have heavy luggage). Yes they may not speak perfect english and the atmosphere is rather simple and home-ish. We have spent only one night at this cosy accommodation. It is in downtown of Bastia and very convinient for those arriving or leaving with the ferries.
