Stopped here on the way to Tuscany for one night. Location is great for sightseeing and restaurants but the hotel needs updating. The room was fair but the bathroom was a little disappointing in terms of cleanliness. Rooms at the front of the hotel tend to be noisy at night due to traffic and people noise. In general it was...

Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean with ok standard but very small, not for families. Good location with walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast buffé was a bit to simple but again it's a cheap hotel.

We stay at the Cecyl as it is so easy to find, very good parking and so central. Clearly a renovated older hotel the Cecyl is decorated throughout with reference to a local religious painting. So, our room this time had a huge picture of the Virgin Mary at the bed head! Its quite good fun. But or reason for...

Do you, suffer from claustrophobia - then read no further! If not you might like this in winter. The Hotel is a perfect example of the ability of French architects to squeeze rooms into the tiniest spaces. First example is the lift - which you will need to use as the hotel is on a narrow footprint and has multiple...

I liked the hotel Cecyl. You just have to make a few choices about how you use the hotel. Its great for sleeping and leaving the huge windows open to hear the noise of the evening reverie go on long into the night and enjoy the cooling September breeze. As long as you do not care about the tight bathroom...

This is a very tastefully decorated hotel at moderate cost in a very central location, in walking distance from the stunning cathedral. We were very happy with our stay and received great service from both the night portier and the morning receptionist. I also received prompt reply to my email informing of our late arrival. It can be a little...

We stopped here on our way back from the Alps. The Hotel is well located in the centre of town with a secure car park next door which the hotel has a preferential rate for. The reception staff pleasant and very helpful. We had a triple room which was a good size and clean. However the room was noisy from...

Recently stayed 2 nights. Location is very good, parking was 1/2 price through the hotel. Hotel was clean, personnel friendly and breakfast was correct. We would stay again. One advice is to check your bill. We booked through City Break. When we checked out, they charged about 15€ more than we were quoted. When we pointed it out, they fixed...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Cecyl. We had quite a large room and imagine that we were given this because we stayed for five nights whilst enjoying the Champagne country. The room didn't have a view, but we didn't mind. Bathroom was very strange with black walls and floor, but the shower was modern and worked well....

This was a nice stay. The hotel is in an old building, and everything squeaks and sway when you walk around. The rooms are really tiny and the shower was one of the smallest I have ever tried. No view from the window to anything but a wall and another window two meters out. Redecorated not so long ago in...
