I can only write positive things about this hotel: ideally situated 5 minutes from the Avenue de Champagne & town centre, the staff is very helpful, rooms are beautifully decorated and the breakfast is wonderful; with such a good breakfast, you can skip lunch quite easily and spend the time walking around and visiting the caves, which were amazing! I...

If you like what makes France - French, then you'll love staying here. You are essentially a paying guest in Madame's house. It's very close to all the champagne houses and very nice place to come back to after spending the afternoon/evening filling yourself with champagne and food. Whilst some people (even my partner who stayed with me) might list...

We wanted to spend wtwo days in Epernay just touring the wine country and relaxing after one month on the road. This hotel allowed us to do just that while staying in a traditional French hotel. It is fry well situated, close to restaurants and the ave of champagne and the. Staff are vey happy to help and are extremely...

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for one night on one of our frequent jaunts to Epernay. We were looking for a French experience and chose this hotel on the basis of other reports in Triparvisor. We were not disappointed! The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Avenue Champagne and is a beautiful example of French architecture...

We stayed here en route from the UK to Switzerland. we liked it so much we stayed again on the way back. The hotel is a large traditional maison de maitre with large rooms, high ceilings and very interestingly decorated - some nice art deco pieces. The rooms are well furnished and clean, the hotel is walking distance into town...

My husband and I stayed at le Clos Raymi during our anniversary trip. It was a jewel in the middle of a quiet industrial section of Epernay. We loved everything about this intimate hotel. There are no elevators so be prepared to carry your suitcase up the stairs. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was perfect! Breakfast...

This beautiful period house is set back behind the famous Rue dChampagne and away from the commercial centre of the town. I believe it was once the home of one of the great champagne magnets. There is plenty of secure parking in front of the building which is furnished in an eccentric but nevertheless tasteful and charming way. The bedrooms...

I stayed just for one night with my husband. The reception was not very good. Although we had reservations by booking.com, it seems like we were not expected. The place is a beautiful old house and the room is lovely, clean and smell good. But it is too expensive to not include breakfast. We paid for the breakfast, that was...

After having a bad experience with a hotel in Reims we thought we would treat ourselves with this place listed as the number 1 recommendation in the lonley planet. We were estatic when we arrived by cab to have a lovely french woman run outside and take up bags (very heavy bags) up to our room. Also the madam of...

Epernay is an industrial town, devoted to a luxury product, champagne. The ugly mansions in which the owners used to live still line the avenue, before it turns into even more ugly production and warehousing buildings. Le Clos Raymi is situated two blocks behind Moet & Chandon and Pol Roger, and within sound of their massive air conditioning plants. A...
