On a night by night trip of the Loire we decided to stay here for our only two night stop; Cecile our host was friendly from the outset offering a welcome cup of tea as soon as we were settled. We stayed in the chocolate room which was fine, comfortable beds, shower in the room and a shared toilet right...

This B&B is just a short walk from Chateau Chenonceaux. We stayed in a very comfortable room with a private bath. As we were there in mid-January on a Sunday evening, there were no restaurants open. Cecile prepared us an excellent home cooked dinner. The following morning she prepared us a substantial French breakfast with Comte cheese, yogurt, croissants and...

We had an early start on the Portsmouth to Le Havre, so stayed for 2 nights to (a) catch up and (b) see some of the Loire. Dinner on the first evening was great, and both breakfasts. Cecile and Yves were helpful, and gave us good ideas for the area. On second day, we went to the Chateau, and then...

A comfortable one night stay after a long journey from the south of France. Loved the house, the garden and the breakfast. Cecile very welcoming and thank you for booking a table for a family of four on arrival at the Le Relais Chenonceaux where we ate excellent food. Also walked around the magical night gardens of the Chateau.

We came here from Amboise, making this our final stop on a mini-tour through the Loire Valley. Everything about this place is charming, from the decor to the yard to the very homey and comforting bedrooms to the really superb Cecile and her effortless hospitality. The classic French breakfast well-prepared and tasty. Location is just slightly off the beaten path...

Cecile looked after us admirably. Excellent location, lovely garden! We had the "Yellow Room" which was comfortable, even for us and two children! The whole place felt very safe and homely, and was a great place to stay and explore a remarkable part of France.

After a horrendous drive from the u.k 13hrs to be exact, we were welcomed very graciously by our hosts. She even tried ringing round the local restaurants for a table though we were too late so had to settle for a swift drink down the road and then bed! It was a shame because the village is so beautiful. Our...

One of our family's best B&B stays ever. Hosts are top tier, food great, rooms excellent value. No request too much trouble for Cecile. Garden superb for late day drinks. Prices for alcohol very reasonable. Great location for day trips to other chateau locations, plus late in day visit to Chenonceaux to miss large crowds.

Searching for an overnight stay quite late in the day we were helped by a friendly B&B owner whose hotel was full but telephoned for us to this hotel. On first sight we were ready to leave as it did not seem to be suitable for my disabled husband but when Sara came to the car park with a welcoming...
