We stayed in the small self catering flat on the next street from the B&B (Rue du Puits d'Or). We were warmly welcomed by Sylvie Menard, who had provided homemade jam, milk and water in the fridge. She obviously cares for her flat, as can be seen in the very high level of cleanliness and decoration. The flat is above... More

You are staying in a room in Sylvie's house but you would think that you were in a self contained apartment. There are 2 guest rooms - Blue and Yellow - which have their own bathrooms and share a common kitchenette/dining area on a private and separate level. We stayed in the Yellow room which has views to the Eglise... More

We spent eight nights at this lovely B&B situated in the beautiful old part of Chartres close to the river and at a walking distance from the Cathedral. There are two rooms and both are beautifully decorated and totally charming. We stayed in the Blue room which is slightly bigger, with 2 single beds (that can be made into one... More

Amazing b&b - thanks TripAdvisor, without you I would not have found this amazing little place! Website is only in French (Google translate does a pretty good job) but the owner, Sylvie, speaks quite good English, and is amazingly helpful. Bargain price includes large room thats really sweet (love the decor!), with ensuite, and lovely breakfast. Sylvie could not have... More

Sylvie's B&B is located right in the old part of Chartres - close to the cathedral - but by the river at the bottom of the hill. There is a relatively easy step-free walking route up to the cathedral (ask Sylvie for directions if you so need). There is a good stock of maps and guides to the local area... More

We stayed at this very charming B&B in October for 2 nights. It is the best B&B we have ever stayed in. The rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated with every care given to the comfort of the guests. There are only 2 rooms and they share a kitchen which is available for self catering. Breakfast is included in the... More

This is a charming bed and breakfast just a short walk from Chartres Cathedral. My husband and I were delighted with our hosts and the accomodations they provided. The room was beautiful, tastefully decorated in soft blues and white, with a private bath and comfy chairs. Everything was clean and tourist information was readily available. Just off the bedrooms was... More

“Our room was at the front and the street light is quite bright. Use the shutters on the outside of the window to darken the room. They are easy to use.”

“When I travelled solo on 2011 I stayed in the yellow room and enjoyed a wonderful sleep in the double bed , but this time in 2013 I chose the blue room since the large bed could be divided into twin beds.....both rooms are beautifully decorated , but I lived the huge bath/shower in the blue room. The yellow room has a cute view of the small garden below....but the blue room is larger.....”
