We usual stop off here on our way back from the south, before going to get the ferry. Easy to get to, with reasonable size pitches. Facilities are basic, but always very clean. Staff are friendly, you can get free WiFi if you sit outside the reception, maybe get a drink from the little take away next door, the frites...

This is our second visit to this camp site, we found not a lot had changed. There is plenty of room to park even for a large camper van. The site is kept clean and tidy but the toilet block is years out of date. Holes in the ground (In the mens toilet) is not acceptable these days. There is...

We were fortunate enough to visit during dry weather... A pleasant site. Basic amenities, but clean and tidy. Friendly staff at the office and only 20 euro per night inc electric during peak season. Turn left out of the site for a lovely walk along the river to the centre of Chartres. It takes about 30 mins at a slowish...

We found the campsite easily using our sat nav. We found the facilities good although the "restaurant" was really a takeaway with a few tables with very limited hours. However, the lady was very accommodating and polite to us. Perhaps it'seems a case of how you treat people? We only stayed for one night end route between Aragon and Le...

A bit of rain and this scruffy site is a mess- told to park on the roadways to avoid getting stuck but difficult to find space. Desperately needs updating and although can sympathise with the permanent campers/workers the ageing vans and tents just add to the depressing feeling. Useful situation but unnecessarily poor.

Reception staff quite rude, amenities are old and filthy. Very poor condition, it looks like nothing has ever been maintained since new. Men's toilets are mostly squatters, everything is chipped, soiled, damp and broken. Park is located in a flood zone which makes the ground quite damp after rain. We had no rain whilst there, but the ground was very...

Good size pitches with shade. Facilities are good except for the toilets – only one standard toilet for men, together with three Turkish style (not ideal for a 69 year old!). In line with many campsites, no toilet paper provided. Good showers with plenty of space and reasonable temperature – although may feel a bit cold earlier or later in...

This campsite is ok. Well located (and one of the rare ones in the area). It looks it was built 30 years ago and never updated ... It has been kept clean and tidy though. They do have good free wifi by the reception. The facilities are limited to one crowded block which should be improved. The prices are on...

Convenient for Chartres. 20 minutes walk by river to town. Camp itself shows signs of wear - but it always has for the last 30 years at least! Open reasonable dates recently [ used to close end August/early September] Probably best to access via ring road, but digging up roundabout on exit from ring June 2014 so probably best to...
