Perfect location right opposite the cathedral. We were impressed with Le Parvis even before we arrived. On a driving tour, the lengths they went to to ensure we found them and the included car parking space was greatly appreciated. It is a very quirky place especially the bedrooms. We were in Les Louis whose decor was like being in 19th...

When we arrived early in the morning after our flight from Toronto, our room wasn't yet ready. The woman who appears to be the hardest working person in France, was very kind and offered to let us use the cave if we wanted to rest for a while. Instead, we went out for a stroll. When we got to our...

My wife and I stayed at Le Parvis on the first night of our motorcycle touring holiday in France during August 2012. The hotel is perfectly situated directly opposite the cathedral in the centre of Chartres. A perfect little hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was super. We had the Henry IV room, a generous size,...

Literally booked on iphone from the train station....awesome little place, very fun room - large- round bed (the penelope room) open the 'secret door' and you're at the steps of the cathedral. Room is funky mix of mod and redone with blk/gray/silver scheme and the round bed makes is just more fun. Excellent location, staff more than friendly- perfect place...

We stayed here for one night and were not disappointed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Parking in the area can be a challenge, but we were sent instructions from the hotel beforehand which made unloading our luggage really easy. They also provided a parking voucher to the nearby secure car park. The hotel is situated opposite the cathedral,...

We were impressed that detailed access information was emailed to us a few weeks before our stay to ensure we could find our way through the labyrinth of narrow streets easily. Le Parvis is superbly situated with very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was simply beautiful. Wish we could have been there for one of their jazz nights.

We drove straight from CDG to Le Parvis in Chartres for our first night in France. Despite being very tired, we found a great restaurant for dinner and stayed up late enough to see the lights on the Chartres Cathedral. Definitely a must see!

Le Parvis is a charming place to stay in beautiful Chartres. The location is literally across the street from the cathedral. The proprietor, Francois, was just as charming and very accommodating--went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful time! Wish we could have stayed longer.

One night in Chartres, so why not try to get as close as possible to the action. Location, location, location, right on the Cathedral square. What a lovely morning having a croissant and coffee in front of the hotel looking up at the towers, waking to the bells. Lovely room, spotless and comfortable. The parking arrangement is a bit complicated,...

Wonderful location right next to the beautiful cathedral, and a short walk into the charming old town, with restaurants, churches, canals, tulips, narrow streets. Our Bleue room was comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed the pleasant color scheme, nice linens, and great shower. Guillaume was a good host, checking us in himself and showing us how everything worked in our...
