My boyfriend and I visited Chez Charitha and we had the best time. Charitha was an amazing host, he gave us great tips on places to go and where to eat, and thanks to him we could make the most of our short trip at the Loire Valley. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, and the...

This is a brilliant place to stay in the central area of the Loire Valley. The proprietor was more than helpful with recommendations, bookings, helping with car parking and generally making sure we were comfortable and well entertained. We had a large, comfortable room on the first floor, with a large ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. There is a...

Great room, clean, comfortable and good en suite. Flatscreen TV (French channels) and a fridge was a bonus. Tea and Coffee making facilities were available. Even a glass of wine appeared from Charitha on many occasions. House was very central in village with many restaurants within easy walking distance with other shops nearby. Parking was available nearby. The village was...

I am writing this review a few months past the time my wife and I stayed at his perfect establishment but my sentiments have only grown stronger. As Charitha knows all too well, I am not always punctual away from the office especially when it comes to responding to emails. I hope this review finds him in good spirits and...

We spent 6 nights here and felt right at home. The room and bed were comfortable, quiet and clean. Our welcome was wonderful and Charitha helped is with local knowledge for our tour. The breakfasts were very generous and healthy. We would be very happy to visit again when next in France.

We stayed two nights with Charitha who is steps away from the Chateau. Everything was within easy walking and Charitha made us feel at home. He welcomed us with wine and made sure to organize everything we needed (dinner reservations, bus to Chinon and Tours, etc). We were thrilled to find that he speaks flawless English! :) If you don't...
