The choice of this hotel and even the town was completely random as it was at the end of a 3 week tour of Europe. All we wanted was somewhere interesting and relaxing before making the Channel dash. Whilst our room was small (cosy small - no7) this really wasn't an issue as we only slept in it! The location...

The rate and room was par for the course. No complaints, and everything worked. Beyond that, the owner/manager, Patrick, was genuinely caring, pleasant and warm. I dare say the best hotelier I met in France, and one of the best anywhere. He offered hot tea and coffee complimentary upon arrival and departure, took pains to give advice on what to...

Very positive experience staying here with family. Excellent location very near to the entrance to the château. Rooms were small but the beds were comfortable and the showers were very good. This was all topped off with an excellent breakfast consisting of locally sourced items.

This is a delightful bijou Hotel in the Loire . Rooms are beautifully decorated and well equipped. The breakfast includes home made apple juice which is wonderfully refreshing. Croisants and Pain au chocolate are first class and proportionately sized to avoid too much guilt. good choice of homemade jams. Access is in a pedestrian zone but delivery to the door...

This boutique hotel, right on the way to Chateau d’Azay-le-Rideau, is on a pedestrian-only street. A former convent, it has a nice patio garden in the back. We kept our wine in a shared refrigerator on the ground floor. Breakfasts are nice, as are the rooms. Parking is offsite, about a block away. Prices are a steal, and Azay-le-Rideau was...

Lovely hotel. Our room was on the top floor and was quite spacious though slant ceiling-ed. Staff was very nice, making recommendations on possible activities and restaurants nearby. Self-service tea in the afternoon. Hotel had a beautiful garden area where you could sit, hang-out, bring a bottle of wine or a picnic. Nice breakfast. Free wifi but only in the...

We are traveling with our kids and the quadruple room was excellent and well decorated . Very clean and spacious. The location is excellent and everyone very friendly . Bathroom was spacious as well. They are having a heat wave in the area and it has been the only hotel that provides a fan in the room. Beautiful town !

We stayed at Hotel de Biencourt Friday & Saturday nights in mid-May & thought that the property was fine, but hardly quiet. We had a room overlooking the street & on Friday night there was a band playing at a local restaurant - audible but not obnoxious. On Saturday morning there were street performers up and at 'em by 10AM...

Dear Madam, Sir, Thank you for sharing your opinion about hôtel de Biencourt on TripAdvisor. We are sorry that the noise disturbed your stay. During this week-end, there was a small band playing for the village's summer party. Usually we don't hear complain about the noise. Best regards, Marie-Laure and Patrick

This is a really relaxing hotel with a great sun trap patio, excellent hosts, great breakfast, large beds, good shower. in fact there wasn't anything that could be improved upon.
