We based ourselves in the Le Choiseul hotel for 4 nights whilst doing a 2 Day tour of various castles in the area. This was a great choice as the rooms were generous in size, beautifully appointed and to top it off, we were in courtyard setting. Other guests that were staying in the main hotel building said they were...

This hotel is lovely, charming, and excellent in every way. The decor was very pretty, the rooms were spacious and lovely, the grounds were gorgeous, the food was outstanding, the staff was wonderful, and the town was so very pretty.

Room was cute but had bugs and nobody seemed to care. We were given a can of bug spray and told to spray. They suggested "bombing the room" without an alternative room to sleep in. We looked on trip advisor and they had numerous rooms available. I'm assuming they were all bug occupied as well? Service was talkative but THEY...

We stayed in Room 24 that offered a very large room and courtyard. Spectacular decor in French. Staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Dinner in their restaurant was elegant and excellent food/wine. The breakfast was very good. Location along the Loire River and proximity to village of Amoise was perfect. Loved our short stay at LeChoiseul and Amboise.

The room was large, the bed was comfortable and the facilities were fine. The bath needed some grab rails so that one could guard against slipping. Gardens were beautiful. Parking was fine and the position of the hotel was good - walking distance from the old town and the castle, on the south bank of the river. The food in...

Excellent stay at an ideally located boutique Hotel, former residence of Etienne François Duc de Choiseul . Hotel is a very short walk from the Amboise downtown and chateau. Staff is kind, attentive, and helpful. Restaurant is one of the best in the Valley, although not star rated, I believe that it will attain a Michelin Star rating. There is...

The hotel is situated very close to the centre of Amboise- 5 minutes walk. Not only is it beautifully appointed with pretty and cosy rooms, the service is also outstanding. Jean-Baptiste on the front desk is extremely professional and friendly, with a wealth of knowledge about the area and steer even a novice traveller to all the best sights and...

We were upgraded to a beautiful, toile lined room with a wonderful view of the cathedral and the Loire. Though we didn't eat at the hotel the restaurant looked very grand, and the bar area was charming. We were greeted by very courteous staff on check in and departure. Charming place.

We stayed here 3 nights, how lovely. We were met and cases tken for us and offered a cold drink, nice after a hot walk. Our room, although no view, was very spacious and comfortable. We had a beautiful meal in the hotel restaurant. The waiters very attentive. The food was fantastic. There is a lovely courtyard where we sat...

Wonderfull little hotel with exclusive touch. Each room decorated in different style. Excellent breakfast and the hotels own restaurant "Le 36" served true french cuisine (quite high priced). The pool and hotel surroundings was nicely done and gave a relaxing park feeling. The only negative is the stairs to reach the rooms are narrow and not easy to walk on....
