He stayed there 2 nights last week and enjoyed the beautiful lobby and hotel. The food was very good as well and allowed you to enjoy the downstairs stonework which is just gorgeous. The room was very comfortable - the rest of the hotel doesn't have the same stonework as the downstairs - the rooms are renovated but very nice....

This botique hotel had it's origin as an abby in the year 900. Historically important and located in the old town of Beaune. The owner and staff make it their personal business all during your stay to make sure that you are comfortable. The staff is friendly and ready to help with any request you may have to aid in...

Great location in the center of wine country. The room was good sized, the breakfasts quite good, and the staff very helpful. The only negative is no elevator and narrow winding stairs to get to your room.

We had a lovely room on the second floor. They've done a nice job of transforming an ancient building into one that combines atmosphere with modern comfort. I will echo the other reviews when I say that the stairs are steep. If you have mobility issues, stay somewhere else. And if you're like me, good for a couple of flights,...

Our room was on the top floor only accessible by a very steep narrow and winding staircase as there is NO LIFT! This is a real problem for anyone who has even the slightest of mobility issues (arthritic knees, for example). The entrance to the hotel is stunning with amazing gothic architecture. Our room was pleasantly large with quarry tiled...

Located right in town and close to the town sites, which were well set up for day and night walks. The town is also famous for wine tasting places and markets. Hotel fantastic history & architecture as was an old abbey with exposed wood beams. No car parking on site so you will need to consider this if you drive,...

This is a perfect hotel for any traveler wanting to experience a piece of history. It's a gorgeous boutique hotel packed with character and integrated modern conveniences. The stone work throughout the hotel is amazing. It's like exploring a museum. The stairs up to the rooms can be tricky and might be an issue for some travelers. It's a narrow...

We found while looking for a decent place to sleep in Beune. Got a special last minute rate. Rooms were clean, comfortable and warm. The view is great and the breakfast was very good. The stairs to the room can be challenging as they are narrow and stip.

We spent an evening here en route to Avignon .What a find. The food was fantastic service was excellent ,staff were very attentive without being intrusive. The stairway to the room was narrow and quite steep but this all added to the atmosphere, there was no lift.

I had to cancel my stay at this hotel at short notice, when the travel disruption at Calais put at risk an unexpected hospital appointment. As a result, I was able to give only 24 hours notice rather than 48 as the hotel required. I told them what had happened in the hope they they would not enforce their refund...
