Great place, clean, with all the basics, and parking no problem. Centrally situated. Very helpful and friendly management. Convenient diner and pub downstairs. An enjoyable stopover in delightful Avallon.

This pub/hotel has very reasonable rates, some pleasant rooms and very friendly husband and wife owners. One minor downside: our room was right next to the driveway at the back of the pub, and I was awoken by what I guessed was an early morning delivery. We arrived late on a winter evening, just in time to catch the owner hosting some local folks for a drink before heading home for dinner. Though he didn't speak much English, and we didn't speak very good French, he called his wife, and she was very nice, telling us everything about the room and the offerings of the inn....
