We have had a superb time at this hotel. Adjacent the ramparts which overlook the sea, it provided the ideal start and finish to our cycling trip of Brittany. We have had to hang around after checking out, but that has not been a problem. A very enjoyable stay in two rooms, one smaller than the other but both comfortable.

Our first-floor room was clean and adequate for our purposes as was the ensuite although the thermostat on the radiator in the shower was precariously placed! The TV included English BBC programs. Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice. The restaurant across the road was only satisfactory when compared with the local completion that are numerous.

We stayed here for 3 nights in Sept 2015. We paid extra for the sea view and got room 16 which was just above the ramparts on the second floor. It was a lovely family run hotel and was cleaned every day it even had a kettle which my husband was very happy about!) We would stay here again if...

We stayed here for two nights, friendly welcome and room with a lovely sea view. Good en-suite, comfy bed, tea tray and bottled water. Breakfast was good but better choice of fresh bread would have been appreciated, there was only white baguettes. Wifi worked well.

We booked last minute for one night in St Malo. The hotel was easy to find after arriving via Condor from Guernsey. Tea and coffee (no milk!) lovely power shower, large twin room in quiet location. Bikes were locked up at Plage de Bon Secours, no problem. Great quiet night sleep. I will be back!

Fantastic view from the attic (to arrive there 4 floors without lift but the view was worth it!), very practical before taking the ferry, bathroom clean, nice shower, perfect wifi, welcoming staff, easy departure!!!

I had to go to Saint-Malo to meet my Son from the Ferry, chose this Hotel as it was one of the cheapest and easy walking to the Ferry just 15min. I was aware of the stairs being narrow from the reviews, I had a double room for two people, it was a good thing I was on my own....

Like a lot of people we often get the ferry to St Malo - but never see St Malo. So we thought we'd stay there the night before. We wish we'd gone to St Malo for the day - but somewhere else to sleep. First; parking - there isn't any. Unfortunately the hotel (on their web site) can't be bothered...

We spent two nights in family room 1, which is on the 4th floor at the top of a narrow staircase. It is quite a hike with a family and the corresponding baggage but the room layout (2 separate bedrooms plus one bed in the hallway, all beds comfortable) and the tremendous sea and city walls views make the effort...

Nice hotel near the waterfront and just inside the city walls. Good rooms but small bathrooms (and shower-only) in the two rooms we stayed in. The location is closer to the beach than to the centre of the city but nothing is very far. There is a primary school across the street so there are the usual sounds of children...
