The lobby area is light spacious and charming. The room was not huge but very well designed to ensure it felt comofrtable and light. Clean and modern too with everything at hand where you need it. Good choices for breakfast. A few minutes' walk from the main art gallery. Would aim to stay again if visiting Rennes.

The hotel is half way between the main station and the old town, so was ideal for us staying one night in Rennes on a train trip across France. Everything seemed very new and well maintained, though not all of the quirky design elements worked optimally. The shower leaked across the bathroom floor, and the grubby carpet was evidence that many guests walked into the sleeping area with dripping wet feet. The beds were very comfortable and the duvets luxurious, too much so in my case as I was too cold with the duvet off and too warm with it on, and there was no other choice of bedding. The windows were openable (8th floor), but the air conditioning couldn't be set below 20 Celsius. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the breakfast buffet was good.

Stayed overnight at start and end of 2 week holiday touring France. What a delightful surprise. Staff very helpful ( especially in getting our car into and out of car park lift), knowledgeable and friendly. Room superb and very high quality. Breakfast excellent and included in room rate. The Spa is amazing. Will definitely stay again.

We were pleased with our choice for our 3 night stay. Lots of positives, with a few annoying things. Our room on 5th floor was facing the road but quiet, with good air con. Clean, with great bed and reasonable space, safe and minibar (used for our milk). It is close to the main lively centre on the other side of the river, and the visitor attractions (more than we realised), but there are good restaurants and bars near (including on a small timber house street Rue Vasselot). It is near the train station. metro stops, and the long distance bus station, where we got the coach to Mont Saint Michel. But it doesn't have the grottiness you sometimes get near stations (indeed Rennes itself is pretty smart except in one or two spots). Staff were very friendly and helpful. We used the spa on the first (wet) day (Friday am and had it to ourselves, but on the Sunday when we wanted to book it was full (we left it a bit late to inquire). Downsides were that the the bathroom is very badly designed (as one other reviewer has expanded at length - shower door opening out and water needing to be soaked up by towels on the floor, basin a silly modern design that doesn't allow water to sit in it, and toilet in a separate room without basin). And bits were slightly broken in the shower, with a few lights not working. The Netspresso machine was good as a kettle substitute but we failed to get it to make coffee (we are not experts and there were no instructions - could well have been broken). Wifi worked OK but kept requiring logging in again so we gave up in the end.
