We booked a family room for 4 and was given a 2 BR apartment upon check in. This unit is located just beside the hotel building and through a metal gate that shuts after 9pm. A little issue is getting to the stairs leading to the unit and the spiral stairs itself which makes it hard to manoeuvre when carrying heavy luggages. There is also no lights along the walkway. But once you get to the unit , it is a little heaven by itself. Self contained and sufficiently equipped to house our family , it comes with a kitchen and living area with 2 king size beds located in separate bedroom. There is a separate bath and toilet as well as an additional area equipped with a basin for washing. The whole unit is fitted with heater which keep it warm during the winter months. If you drive , you can just park by the street near the hotel. It is also a 5 mins walk to the city centre but there are ample eateries around the hotel and a supermarket nearby. Overall , it is a pleasant stay.

Welcoming and friendly staff. The continental breakfast was very good, and plentiful. The hotel is about 6 minutes walk to the metro station which connects to the train station. We liked the unique triangular lift. Our room was clean and comfortable. Nice place, and a pleasant stroll away from the historical centre of Rennes There are also some lively bistros in the streets around the hotel.

Had a great experience, it was my first time in many years since I went back to Rennes, didn't know what to expect from the hotel, turned out to be a great location, and centralized, walking distance from the city center. Arrived early in the morning, yet the front desk agent was very accommodating and gave us a room immediately, extremely hospitable and friendly staff, especially ( Marion )who was extremely helpful one night when my wife had an accident before returning to the hotel .when we got to the hotel, she was very sympathetic to my wife's condition, even more asked her mom who happened to be a nurse to bring my wife some medication to ease her pain. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 1 night, 3 of us in a 2 bed apartment. The staff really couldn't be more helpful. Th apartment entrance was around the corner next to the hotel and up a narrow flight of stairs, but was very spacious.

Last week I arrived in Rennes late at night without a hotel. I arrived at the Hotel Lanjuinais where I discovered they too were booked out. But here I witnessed some outstanding customer service. Off his own bat, Bruno, who was on reception, picked up the phone and started phoning around neighbouring hotels until he found a hotel with an available room. He was under no obligation to do this. I was highly impressed with the gratuitous kindness and outstanding five-star customer service. Bruno is an asset to his hotel and the French tourism industry!
