Just spent 4 most pleasant nights in this Chambres d'Hotes, which is a most interesting and beautiful historic building. Very stylish and comfortable place to say. Spacious bedrooms and very big shower :), very stylishly decorated and lovely artwork throughout. Breakfast was very generous and fresh. Having access to private parking is a great bonus. The accommodation has great access to the city by tram, so no need to drive in. Thank you Christine, we had a most pleasant stay and would definitely stay in your lovely place again. Merci Christine et Peter

My wife and I stayed here recently for 4 nights. Rooms are large and most importantly have a really comfortable bed. Our room on the third floor had a nice big shower. Quality materials have been used everywhere and all rooms have air conditioning and good heating if needed. There is a separate small kitchen area and table for guests to use. The whole house is done with a lot of taste and there is a fantastic secluded courtyard with a jacuzzi. Christine is a lovely host who was very helpful, especially as when we arrived we were suffering from food poisoning. We would certainly stay again if we are in the area.

The B&B experience could not be better. The home is a 150 year old building that has been tastefully and comfortably renovated. Christine (and her husband) are as delightful and helpful as can be. Town is a 1.2 km walk to the tram station and an easy tram ride. Should we ever return to Clermont-Ferrand Clos Beaumont is where we'll stay!

We stayed three nights in June. This is a great B&B. Having looked over the previous reviews the only negatives are very minor. I could not find fault. We were on the top floor, so be prepared for three flights. The room was very large and very clean. The bed linen was good quality and a very comfortable bed. The air conditioner was welcome on the 36 C day. Breakfast was very nice with fresh juice and pastries. There were many very thoughtful and lovely touches throughout. Christine was a lovely host and nothing was too much trouble. She was very knowledgeable on the local hikes. We found the location great as we spent the days walking the volcanoes and you are on the right side of Clermont Ferrand for the ¾ hour drive. It was a three kilometre walk into the town where there were many nice restaurants. Although you could take the tram we walked (about 45 minutes). There is a history of the house which adds to the experience and charm. I have no reservations in recommending this B&B.

This was our first stop at our tour through France, and our first experience with a chambre d'hotes. We were pleasantly surprised about this experience. The rooms were cosy and thoughtfully decorated, nicely situated in a calm area outside Clermont-Ferrand. The hosts were just wonderful to us, helping us to find good places in that area, explaining the history of their house to us, and making great breakfast for us (fresh bread, brownies, jam). We enjoyed our stay a lot and can only recommend this place.
