Owners Suzanne & Mike, as well as son Paul, labored for six years to turn the shell of a 12th century monastery farm into a charming and very special B&B. Everything is beautifully done. The spotless, beamed bedrooms are spacious, beds are comfy, bathrooms well designed & hot water plentiful. The hearty breakfast is set at a lovely communal table...

We stayed for seven nights and almost wish we could have moved in permanently. Delightful spaces available to guests outside the room both inside and outside the main building to relax, picnic and soak up Perigord. Great hosts and such good coffee! Easy walking to all the sights in Les Eyzies.

Dear Iowaboy We are really grateful and thankful for the lovely review you wrote for us. Suppose we cannot hold you responsible for the difference of opinion that has arisen here as to whether it was my or Paul's coffee that really hit the spot ! Kind regards, Mike

My wife and I have travelled to many parts of the world since mid 1970's. This B and B is the best we have ever stayed at. The hosts, Mike and Suzanne were exceptionally welcoming and helpful with information and advice. They happily engage in conversation, or if you prefer solitude, they are happy to leave you to your own...

Charming old monastery, fully restored with large rooms, pool and beautiful gardens. Stop in town for bread, wine, cheese and fois gras and have a picnic. We spent time every evening enjoying their gardens. Mike, Suzanne and Paul were gracious hosts and very accommodating. I would recommend spending all your time here asTaynac is centrally located for the whole Sarlat/Beynac...

Why confused? We arrived in a beautiful village at a fine looking B & B. Suzanne showed us around having told us that the trains were only six a day and the bells only three times a day - all true, but bells at eight o'clock on a Sunday morning. The advice about the mosquitos was not quite as true;...
