My favorite thing about this hotel is its grounds. Loved the vines hanging from the bridge and growing on the stone walls and the water-wheel. The stream that runs next to this restored old mill is very soothing, and we enjoyed relaxed moments sitting next to it. The room we had was nice and large, and there was decent parking...

We found this hotel after arriving late in Les Eyzies - and what luck! The room had everything we needed, with unlimited wifi access, was very clean, quiet and had a great view. Breakfast was good - and cheap. We visited out of season so the room was very competitive too. A place we would certainly return to in the...

The hotel is in a lovely location, with pretty views and a quiet grassy area. My room was relatively small, but sufficient and clean. The attached restaurant is pretty good, although the dishes are inconsistent and the service muddled. The wifi worked consistently and was available throughout my room. I don't know that I would recommend the hotel, not being...

Hotel was pretty much what I expected- rates were good, basic rooms, the location was excellent. A great base for looking through the various caves with prehistoric art. The restaurant was good, but a bit expensive for us, but there is plenty of choice close by in the town.

I would class the Moulin as a "restaurant with rooms" as the hotel element does not have much in the way of guest facilities (no bar, no lounge etc.) The reception can often be unmanned and a notice directs arrivals to the nearby restaurant if this is the case. Although near the village centre, the hotel is set down below...

We only stayed for one night, at the start of a cycling holiday. Unfortunately we were delayed arriving, so missed our evening meal, but the chef put together a generous plate for each of us with assorted cold meats and cheeses. The room was fine and the breakfast was good. Most of the staff were great, but the owner was...

This is a really neat place. While breakfast is so-so, the room is nice enough, although we didn't have A/C. What makes the hotel is the little valley with a stream on 2 sides of it and a neat, and very good restaurant that overlooks the stream. It feels like it's located far away, but you're really just about a...

I stayed at Moulin de la Beune for two nights during a bicycle tour in Dordogne. The rooms are basic but clean and perfectly adequate. The real advantage of this property is the lovely setting along the Beune river. I also had two great meals at the attached restaurant and would recommend both.

Lovely spot beside la Beune, much closer to the centre of Les Eyzies than it appears - merely a short walk. Pleasant traditional bedroom and breakfast room. Restaurant pretty good on the first night and, encouraged by that experience, we went for the tasting menu on the second night. Overall, that proved to be a disappointment, as the quality of...

We had one night here on a walking tour, but wished we could have stayed longer. The room was comfortable and very clean with doors opening onto the terrace. It was very quiet at night. The best part was the meal we had in the restaurant which was beautifully decorated with quality table settings. We had a set menu which...
