My wife and I camped here for two weeks in the second half of June 2017 and had an excellent time at this tranquil retreat. The location is absolutely amazing, providing secluded camping pitches amongst the trees, with a stream at the bottom of the...More

    Questions & Answers
Bonjour! A few questions for you, if you don't mind: 1) What does it cost per night to stay in July 2016? 2) Everyone talks about the tent pitches being next to a river, but nobody has posted pictures. Is the river clean? Do people swim in it? Can you access it easily from your tent site? 3) Are there spaces to have a bon fire and cook your food by the tent sites? Or anywhere on the property? 4) What is the distance of the closest airport to this location? I thank you in advance for any information you can provide. I am an American living in the north of France and it seems difficult to find what we call dispersed, or 'wild' camping in France. For us, camping is all about being out in nature, with a water source that is clean to bathe, swim and boil for tea/coffee, along with the fires at night upon which we prepare our meals. These features seem foreign to this culture so I am having difficulty finding something that meets all these needs. Anyhow, thanks again, Karla
