How wonderful. A gorgeous place belonging to a lovely couple in love with art and music. Nested in central Biarritz. 1ha of land welcomes the traveler in search for something Else. Worth every effort. Book without delay. Maybe breakfast could be a bit improved with local pastries would have been ideal.

Run by a couple of artists, there are pictures, sculptures in every available space which makes for a unique hotel stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast area is light and spacious and you will be served a variety of fresh pastries etc. Your order for tea or coffee will be taken when you arrive. Be sure to... More

Really beautiful home but the owners were a little weird. That's kind of what you sign up for with a B&B but especially at breakfast our family couldn't even have a conversation without the owner hovering over us and jumping in.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived - this place is a true gem and well worth it's price. The room was very spacious, a suite really. The house itself is full of gorgeous canvases, decorated for top to toe with art. We were sad to only stay 1 night. Maryse and Marc are just lovely. This place is really... More

My wife and I stayed at this Maitre d'Hote for 4 nights and found it to be very good in all respects. If you are an art lover you will certainly enjoy staying at this B&B as the walls in all rooms are covered with works of art, many created by the hosts. Initially we found our room to be... More

The house is a mini museum with modern art everywhere. The rooms were comfortable though the two we stayed in (Rosita and Marisa) did not have air con as advertised. Not tragic since the evening was not sweltering but could've been a problem. It was relaxed and very good value, except for breakfast which was an ungodly 9,50 each for... More

Friendly welcome, great place, original architecture and comfortable. If you want ato go to a trendy, fashionable place, do not go! If you are looking for something special,... More

A delightful house with very spacious rooms and comfortable furnishngs set in mature wooded garden. The house is like an art gallery where you live among the exhibits. Our hosts (husband, wife and daughter) were very friendly and helpful. Close to the train station (even then we were given a lift on departure) and about 30 minutes walk from town... More

Stayed here for a weekend and was really glad I chose this place. Beautiful house made all the more charming by the family that run it. They were incredibly helpful with recommendations, even gave me a lift into town one day. Had the best sleep in years in their comfortable rooms with great light-excluding shutters. Perfect place just to relax.... More

My wife and I spent four nights at Nere-Chocoa during a three-week ramble this September through SW France. It was a wonderful, wonderful place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The B&B was a big, old, nicely restored and maintained house on a large, wooded property on the outskirts of Biarritz with very easy auto access to town. It was... More
