I stayed one night in the Hotel Gutenberg while en route from Brussels to Provence in August. I had been to Strasbourg once before many years ago but had stayed at that time in a hotel much further out from the city. The location of the Gutenberg is fantastic, so central to everything. On arrival we were advised by the...

Pretty rooms with modern style furniture. Excellent location - not more than 5 minutes walk to main attractions (except Euro Quarter). 15 minutes walk to train station. Our best Cathedral' photo was made from room window ;-) Cheery and helpful staff. Note there is no wi-fi connection in the rooms, only at the reception area. We would recommend this hotel...

I stay here regularly for business trips to Strasbourg and choose it because of the consistently good service and its fantastic location in the centre of the city. It is not a luxury hotel by any stretch of the imagination but it is better than a lot of 3 star hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are always clean...

This is the 2nd time I stayed at this hotel. The staff is amazing, very helpful and patient - even helped us when we had problems with the airline. The breakfast is AWESOME!!!! Great variety of bread, fruit salad, cereals,.... Very clean, rooms are spacious, and the location couldn´t be better 5 min. walk to the cathedral and 10 min....

Reception lass permanently cheerful, competent (a problem-solving whiz !) and took a real interest in all the guests we came across. Nothing too difficult or too much trouble - a credit to the hotel, especially for one so young.

We stayed at the Hotel Gutenberg for one night in early July. While our room and bathroom were small, the amount of thought and functionality into such a space was amazing. The air conditioning was excellent. The wi-fi only works in the lobby, which is a drag when you're staying on one of the higher floors in the hotel. It...

We firstly found the location was excellent although we were a little put off by the 2 star rating we felt it was far better than this. Room renovated, spotless and quiet, breakfast plenty of variety including boiled eggs and excellent quality, and the staff very helpful and friendly as well as speaking English was a bonus. Pricing was best...

There is a lot to like about the Hotel Gutenberg. Its location can't be beat. Close to the cathedral, easy walk to Petite France, and convenient to a parking structure and trams. Very clean, well-lit and updated, it will appeal to those who prefer modern accommodations, even if the rooms are smallish, and lacking a clock and coffee pot. The...

I stayed at Hotel Gutenberg for a night with my boyfriend. I had reserved a Privilege room for 135 € : the one we got was really small (1st floor, room 105), had no tube (I paid for one), the toilets were not working well (how romantic!). I was quite disappointed. The staff was not friendly, when I told them...
