The staff was friendly. The room was brand new, big and clean with water-boiler , hair-dryer... The breakfast really good, with a wide variety.

Reading the good reviews of the hotel my expectations probably were too high. The hotel and the hotel room were clean and the service was great and the staff very nice and helpful. The main drawback was the room which was quite basic and the wifi, which I had a lot of difficulties with. The breakfast wasn’t very exciting. The...

I booked this hotel at the last minute after deciding to visit Strassboug for the weekend and was totally delighted with all aspects of the hotel. we found it easily, parked outside while checking in and then had the car valet parked in the hotel car park (for only 12 euros a night). We had a very large room, with...

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Metropole Monopole Hotel for four nights (Apr. 15-18, 2011). We were extremely pleased with the hotel. We were traveling by train; the hotel's location was very convenient--a few blocks from Strasbourg's train station and also a tram station. The hotel's staff was friendly, responsive, and helpful. Our room was comfortable, quiet...

My family stayed here for 2 nights in April 2011 and we were very pleased with our choice. Good location, clean comfortable rooms, and excellent staff. Pretty good breakfast included in the cost. My only regret is to stay only 2 days in Strasbourg...such an amazing city. Hope to return next year, and will stay in this hotel again.

We stayed at the Metropole Strasbourg in February 2011. It is a good choice if you want to discover Strasbourg as it is well situated (just next to the new high speed train station) and only 10 to 15 minutes from the cathedral. There is no restaurant at the hotel, but you got a few quick dining option nearby. The...

The Best Western is a clean hotel with very modern rooms in a grand old building a few minute's walk from the main train station. The beds are very comfy, the bathroom excellent and there is free wifi. We stayed there before an early train, and the staff were exceptionally helpful in making sure we got our early breakfast (massive...

I spent three nights here at the start of the month. The room was basically decorated (think it fell into the alsace style, rather than the modern), with 2 twin beds, and a nicely refurbished bathroom and shower. Tea/coffee making facilities were available in the room as were an iron and ironing board and flat screen tv. free wireless internet...
