We came to this restaurant with no booking and they were so helpful. Within 2 min we had a table. I would recommend the rack of Veal and rum cake. The staff are so friendly and the food is amazing, did I say Amazing.

The concierge was kind enough to recommend this restaurant. It's tucked away down a quiet street away from the melee of the Christmas market and spread over 2 floors. The tables are typically cramped in French style but it adds to the warmth of the restaurant. The food was wonderfully prepared and I would recommend the crème brûlé fois gras,...

My wife and I went to Chez Yvonne on our first ever trip to Strasbourg. We were looking for some authentic Alsace cuisine and we were not disappointed. A very cozy place with relatively simple wooden tables and chairs (which are in keeping with the local decor) and a restaurant space that stretches over two floors. The food was typical...

Excellent place. Traditional food and excellent attention (rare in France). It was our 2nd anniversary and we really enjoyed it. Coq au vin was delicious, also the boeuf was perfect. The sorbets and merengue were very good! Great experience.

Port stop in Strasbourg while on a riverboat cruise. After some exploring in town we stopped here for lunch. The building is wooden and quite old with uneven walls, ceiling and steps- which adds to the charm. We were seated upstairs because we had not made reservations. I enjoyed the chicken/ riesling served in my own small pot. It was...

The wine was good, albeit they brought the wrong year which I hate, and then pretended I didn't remember correctly. The food was average to good, nothing to write home about though. One of those meals you cannot fault but neither can you remember the next day what it was you ate. Cosy atmosphere and a lot of famous visitors....

This very quaint restaurant that's hidden somewhere in the crevices of the old buildings in Strasbourg is quite a pleasant surprise. Their food was fantastic and service was excellent. Although seemingly understaffed, the wait was not too long considering. The country style fare more than makes up for everything. If you don't mind meandering around the narrow streets of Strasbourg,...

I went to Chez Yvonne with my whole family, after making a reservation and informing we have a child with us, we weren't well received by the restaurant team. I have a boy of 2 years and since we were having a very nice Xtmas trip he was very happy, he sang the musics, comment the special events, Xtmas and...

Delicious food in a most charming restaurant with red checked curtains. We enjoyed everything ...the service was friendly and very good. The food was nicely presented and very tasty. Crepe brûlée and sorbets for dessert ....wonderful!

No fuss, no pretensions.... just a good old fashioned regional French restaurant quietly tucked away in a side street. Arrived, greeted nicely, seated promptly. Nice seasonal menu with a mixture of regional and non-regional dishes. Ordered, food delivered in a timely manner (but not rushed) , everything was perfectly cooked, well seasoned and very tasty. We put them to the...
