Just back from a trip to Europe where we stayed at many lovely hotels. Maison des Tetes was at the top of the list. Tour room was elegant and comfortable and the overall decor excellent. The hotel is in the center of town and is historically very important and comfort and courtesy made this a very special place. Would stay...

Recently renovated in a boutique style contemporary decor with modern hotel amenities in the center of the historic district. Near Musee Unterlinden and other sites with best amenity being private parking behind hotel well worth the surcharge . Breakfast was pricey so we skipped that but we highly recommend the more casual restaurant/brasserie on the first floor where the food...

The apartments are really spacious, the location is good, within a walking distance from the city, but not at all noisy. The best part are the hosts, they are extremely friendly, show you around (remember to ask for the local bakery unless they do so) and feel you warmly welcome. Totally recommend this place, particularly for families.

We revisited La Maison des Tetes again this year and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is centrally located and a perfect place to stay for exploring romantic Colmar. The room clean and spacious - and pure luxury with Nuxe-products in the bathroom. The staff and owners extremely friendly and helpful at all times - you feel so welcome. The breakfast...

This is an excellent place to stay in Colmar. The rooms are spacious with good amenities and comfortable beds. Great rain shower if a bit too large! The modern chair was not very comfortable and there was little table top space. The staff was always helpful. And the staff accommodated our card playing in the delightful courtyard by providing bar...

We booked an overnight stay . Before arriving we had friendly email with guidance to car park and offering option of booking restaurant which we exercised. The hotel is a fascinating combination of city centre traditional hotel with major investment in modern interior. There is a gourmet restaurant as well as Brasserie on most nights. We had the tasting menu...

Nice spot, cozy room with a modern day spin on 17th century architecture. Would stay here agin! Well nestled in the heart of the town, two restaurants one fine dining and the other casual fare. Would recommend venturing out for food if you aren't willing to commit to the fine dining.

Very nice room(s), very helpful and nice staff and right on the boarder of the old town. We specially liked the Nespresso machine in the room and that they offered parking for a relatively low rate in the back of the hotel. We got it for a great rate and I would stay again.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and used it as a base to explore Alsace for which it is ideally placed. Built in 1609 and the former wine exchange, the facade is covered with over 100 small heads hence the name. The hotel is built around a medieval courtyard where you can sit and have a drink at...

Facing the Colmar Cathedral just across the street is an elegant and ornate building, La Maison des Tetes, which translated, means the House of Heads. The Rennaissance structure (1609) is well named. Decorated with carved faces, its dozens of eyes look out onto the medieval street. Now it is a hotel but for a few hundred years it was a...
