I booked this hotel through Spa Breaks for my boyfriend's birthday, we had a lovely time and the room was very clean and very spacious. When we arrived the room smelled slightly of drains, we didnt notice this after a while only when using the bathroom and sink, maybe there was an issue at the time it didnt really take...

We stayed one night whilst up to watch football. We ordered a family room direct from the hotel as it was the cheapest price around and they gave you an additional £10 voucher to spend in the bar. The room was large and the additional bed already set up. The hotel was having one of its lifts upgraded so only...

I had stayed at this hotel before and cannot believe how much standards have slipped. Even when the lifts are both in operation they are inadequate for the number of guests so I was concerned to find one was out of action. On the Saturday night the second lift broke down and then the lift near the spa so no...

Let's get the "ugly" things out of the way first. Elevator: One is not enough. Long queues in and out. It's frustrating. I saw there was a second lift being refurbished. Pls do it asap. Toiletries. Spartan... A soap bar would not be a problem, would it? A cotton-bud as well. It's a pity to be a Scrooge, when you're...

I stayed here with my husband for a spa break, overall we enjoyed our stay but we did have some issues. Firstly, there is quite a lack of amenities in the room, we had a superior king size room but there was only one body wash and one shampoo, no additional soap for hand washing and the bottles were tiny,...

We went for a spa day and overnight in hotel. Spa was a bit disappointing as it seemed disorganised - people had booked and there was no booking for them etc and there definitely seemed to be too many people for the amount of staff and facilities available. We went on a Thursday so don't know what a Friday or...

I stopped here for 2 nights in February, the check in was quick and easy. There's a secure car park too which is a benefit for Manchester. The room was large - 2 double beds for 1 person, with desk and chair, decent TV and good tea/coffee making facilities. Also a large spacious bathroom with bath, 2 basins and separate...

There is the basis for a high quality hotel here. Reception, bar and restaurant have a nice look, but the narrow "iconic" design do make breakfast quite congested. Only one lift in operation at the moment, and a small car park (£20/night) are important considerations if you have restricted mobility. The location is very close to Piccadilly station, but noise...

Only stayed over 1 night but it was lovely! Got given a corner room so there were windows round half the room which was fab! Reception staff were very helpful. We had a few cocktails in the bar at night which was quiet but really nice! Overall it was short and sweet!

Initially refused early check in which I requested during book in and was told to return at 3pm however when partner went to speak to the lady at reception and asked to speak to the manager explaining he wasn't happy somehow a room became available within a space of 10 minutes ? Funny ? We were then given our room...
