The room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities one could expect at such value. The location is excellent with a tram stop 2 mins walk away. The staff were very, very helpful as they were able to change the date of my holiday at short notice (blame Nicola Sturgeon!)

I first stayed here in 2013, the standard has declined. The housekeeping don’t do a great job with cleaning. The room did not have any clean soap in it. A used bar of soap from the previous occupant was left in the shower. In addition, there was some hair in the bed. Reception were friendly, but there was no senior management present when I complained. There is a service with a shrug mentality. Breakfast is not a buffet, due to COVID, and you must come at your allotted time. Coffee was poor. It might be worth paying a little extra to get a nicer place.

Dear Skier789, We truly appreciate you sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet the same standards as the one prior. In our hotel we always strive to offer supreme customer service and your experience was not our standard. We will be handing over your comments to our housekeeping manager in order to investigate further on the matter. At the moment with these unprecedented times, there are limited members of staff per shift and management sadly are not always there. I am sorry to hear that our team did not promptly resolve the issue with your room. Additional training will be undertaken to ensure this does not happen again. Unfortunately due to current and ongoing restrictions we are not able to offer our normal buffet breakfast service and we do apologies if you did not enjoy yours. We take your comments on board and shall strive to greater improve our service. Thank you again for your feedback. Kind regards, Melissa Campagnaro Assistant Manager

Check in was great, the lady was very polite & friendly and explained where the room was and about how to scan the card to work the lift and to get back in the hotel. The room was dirty when we checked in on the floors and near the window, I gave it a quick wipe as it wasn’t a lot but still shouldn’t have had to do that. We didn’t get a good night sleep because people were running up and down the hallways banging on doors and walls until the early hours of the morning and then the cleaner banged on the door then let her self in at 10am when check out is 12 which also woke us up as we only got to sleep on the early hours due to the noise. Overall not a great experience the only positive was the nice lady who checked us in.

However we are sorry to hear that your room was not up to our usual high cleanliness standards. Please be reassured that our team is available 24/7 to help you with any problems that might arise. Stayed overnight before an early flight from airport, online check in before i even stepped into hotel was simple. Simple case of short walk into city centre for food and a couple drinks, easy walk back after curfew kickout. Reception can rustle up a taxi in about ten mins, even at about 3:30am.
