Spent one night here on a theatre visit. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was basic but clean and bed wasn't the most comfortable I've slept in but was ok for one night. It is right in centre, above a pub so a great location in terms of getting to places, but not if you are a light sleeper...

NOTHING like the photos. Very average. Can't believe I paid £275 for this room for 3 nights. The beds are horrible to sleep in. Pillows are hard, nothing hardly in them. The toilet is simple. Just a toilet and a cheap shower. Sink outside the bathroom?? I hate it here. Please do not stay here!!!

Pound for pound there was nothing wrong with my stay at this hotel. I booked it as it was the lowest cost for the 1 night. It was clean and comfortable but a bit tired round the edges. Truthfully the rooms I stayed in could do with some investment but it was reflected in the half price of all the...

Located opposite the cathedral and adjacent to the central shopping area, location can't be faulted. However, the smaller, cheaper rooms (at least number 31) are far from the boutique image portrayed on the website. The comfort of my single bed was fine, but a number of minor niggles: the TV had poor reception (no ITV or C4 and intermittent BBC),...

One and only good point is this hotel is a 5 minute walk to phones 4u arena. That's it. We checked in easily enough. Had to ask how to get to room as girl on reception wasn't quick to tell us. Our room was number 3. Windows hadn't been cleaned for months there was webs and spiders all over them....

I'm afraid I've little to say about this .. I booked, found it easily, pleasant and easy check in. The single room was small, but clean, comfortable and above all clean and in good order. Everything was as it should be, which is good, but makes for boring reviews!

On arriving I could not fault the location, perfectly central, next to the Arndale, near Victoria station, national football museum, just off Deansgate and Northern Quarter so will cater for whatever your trip is for; but unfortunately this is where the pluses end. Looking through the pictures on here it seems like we were royally stitched up with the room...

My friends and I booked two rooms at this hotel for a weekend in Manchester. To my utter amazement and disappointment we had two rooms on the top floor which did not have a bathroom. The bathroom shower was shared by several guests. I thought I had gone back to the 80s. The room was cooled the heating did not...

Attended this hotel and stayed in the suite which was great with us being a group and the price we paid. The room itself was great plenty on room and beds are comfy and plenty of facilities in the cupboards. The doorways where small but nothing that was unmanageable until drunk. It has a music player so you can blast...

The location of the hotel is ideal and the staff were lovely but the room was a shocker! It wasn't just the silver wallpaper that was an offence to the eyes but the general unclean feeling you got from entering the room. Big piece of ceiling wallpaper hanging off over one of the beds, the stain on the only chair...
