As I was on a budget I booked this room at a discounted rate. £59. My advice is don't go here unless absolutely necessary. The room I had was a single with single bed. The bed was solid, very uncomfortable the quilt seemed to be made of thin polystyrene it didn't bend quite right. The curtains may well have been...

We paid £99 (breakfast not included) for a one night stay, such a disappointment! This is not a reflection on the staff we met as they were friendly and welcoming. Our room (18) was basic to say the least, the en-suite was past it's best and the shower either scalded or froze you. We would have also appreciated being advised...

Excellent location for Manchester and relatively quiet considering so handy. Unfortunately the room was pretty dire. Mould on the ceiling, tiles missing in the bathroom, the dirtiest windows you have ever seen (both inside and out) and what can only be described as a piece of damp plywood in the shower! Other than that the staff were lovely and pretty...

Stayed here with friends while attending a concert at the MEN Arena. The location was fab - 5 minutes to the Printworks for pre-concert food & drinks and then another 5 minutes or so from there to the arena. The room itself was a little shabby but the bed was super comfy and it served its purpose - somewhere to...

Stayed here very recently. It was a shared bathroom. 2 Bathrooms pe 4 rooms. Not to bad I hear you say, but only 1 shower actually worked! 4 Electric sockets in room. 2 didn't work at all ! Told Reception of these problems, but just told it was being dealt with. Great location, just a shame that before the night...

Great location for concert or night out in manchester however room was small for 4 people and very basic. It was clean but in need of a major update . The bathroom shower either scalded or went cold. Our view was of a brick wall and office window . The towels were small and were very used( holes in a...

The bar and eating area downstairs was very misleading! We went to reception upstairs to be greeted by two receptionists that had no idea what they were doing and didn't know whether we needed to renew our parking ticket (on the car park that was recommended by the hotel!!!) It's disgusting that you have to return your key every time...

Quirky hotel in a fantastic position, we really enjoyed the stay here , good food and drinks , a bit noisy late at night but next door is a busy pub and the mitre itself has a busy bar but I fell asleep easily as I'd had a few . Room was clean with a huge bathroom and huge TV...

My friend and I stayed here when we attended a concert at the MEN. Our rooms were clean and tidy. The furniture a bit dated but that is hardly important. The bedding was spotless!!! So much tea and coffee in the room! The breakfast was absolutely perfect. Beautifully cooked and presented. We just couldn't fault it. The staff were pleasant,...

Completely inaccurate photos shown on the website! The room was small, dingy, mismatching and uncomfortable! The overall experience was completely miserable except for the reception staff who were helpful but over-worked! A tariff of £74 for a shared bathroom with a bedroom of that standard was completely overpriced! If I could give 0 stars I would! Terrible
