Our room had no windows. We got the cheaper offer of course, but we still paid just more than 100 pounds. Unacceptable. Moreover, the room was next to a water pump which was producing noise for the whole time. The personnel was not helpful. The area is busy and central, perhaps interesting for that reason. Avoid the place if you...

This hotel is in a very busy area of Manchester and is extremely noisy. Our room was very dated and right next to a generator which kept us awake all night along with rowdy crowds outside. We would have closed the window to reduce the noise but the room was ridiculously hot and the radiator wasn't even on. The water...

Stayed here last week as there were no other Hotels available in the area.I wish I had stayed at home.Threadbare carpets on the stairs and musty smells in corridors. Room was ok apart from being extremely hot, could not open window due to the noise from an extract fan .Hence did not get much sleep and had an important meeting...

Stayed her for a wedding last weekend. Not the nicest or fanciest place I've ever been to but the staff went above and beyond. The rooms are basic but the location and price make it worth it. There is a guy called Martin who was working the night desk who was incredibly helpful and a good laugh and the day...

Thank you Jonathon for the lovely four star review. We do understand in areas the hotel, the decor does look a little tired, but the staff really do try to turn this around with a great service for ever guest that stays. We'll let the night porter Martin know of his good service as well and thanks. Duty Manager -...

Broken lift, threadbare carpet, no AC, couldn't open the window due to noise from trams police sirens and fights and it was food bank day. Location is good for amenities but was unsettling due to the number of homeless right outside. For what it cost, I've stayed in far better places which worked and included breakfast. Wifi was V slow,...

Hello and thank you for taking the time to review the hotel. We're terribly sorry about your stay. We currently have one lift working in the hotel as the other is getting replaced for a newer lift which takes approximate 3 months to do. We do realise being in the city centre can be noisy and we can't do anything...

We needed to book a hotel asap as our last hotel was horrendous. The location was amazing. Very central. Walking distance from the Arndale and Chinatown. I booked the hotel online and arrived half an hour later around 11.30am and were able to check in early! The receptionist was so lovely, polite and informative. The whole process took around 5...
