We arrived not having any clue that this is a Muslim hotel. The only thought after that was ok, so there won't be any ham in the continental breakfast in the morning. There was no hairdryer in the room, but after requesting one at reception, one was brought up which was efficient. There are no frills with this hotel, no...

The hotel was in a good location as we wanted to visit the curry like in Rusholme whilst not being too far from the city centre for travelling back home the next day. On the negative side the hotel looked tired from the outside and was also tired from the inside, the room was dusty and unclean, the lock on...

As with the majority of the reviewers who have taken the time to review this hotel and scored it a one...I cannot honestly see how this is a five star hotel. I found on arrival being shown the room then told very enthusiasticly to follow the guy immediately straight back to reception and pay the full amount before even dropping...

Staff were rude. The hotel was vile, dirty sheets, the light in our room didn't work. There was a nightclub outside our window! Everything was falling apart. The walls were thick with dirt! Thank god it was only for one night or I would have cried! The bed (despite the dirty stained sheets) was very comfortable. The breakfast was very...

On arriving we were greeted warmly, shown our room and back to reception to pay. All seemed well. After looking at our room more closely, the window was open but we could not shut it because there was a cable running from our room, out of the window across the flat roof and into a hole in the next building....

Stayed here with a friend for one night as we had planned to meet up for a night out in the City Centre. On arrival the staff at reception were really helpful and took us up to our room and told us to come down when we were ready to pay for the room. £65 for 1 night is pretty...

This is a budget hotel, so I wasn't expecting sumptuous accommodation and/or service, but I do expect certain basics which I'm afraid the hotel just doesn't provide. To start, it needs a general face lift; scabby paintwork and carpets with dark dribbly stains greet you when you arrive. This is a hotel owned by Muslims, and it has to be...

I stayed here with my boyfriend before the Manchester Half. The guy on reception was friendly, he showed us our room before we paid. The room was basic: double bed, ensuite and tea and coffee making facilities. No television, but plenty of lounges in the hotel for you to watch TV and read. The room was freezing and the blinds...

Stayed here for one night and it was a disgusting place as you'll see from the photos, there was a "Bogey" wiped onto the door frame, beds sheets that had some ugly stains on them & a filthy mattress. Also the breakfast consisted of cereal & toast, which was a bit strange as when I asked the guy on reception...
