This place is a joke!! Checked in last night & the guy on reception just gave me a keycard and said enjoy your stay.... I had to ask him what room it was for him to then have to look on his computer to see which room he'd given us. Our room is completely basic and looks so dated. Cannot...

Stayed in this hotel over night after making my way to the top of the hotel I found my room. As soon as I opened the door I could smell stale smoke!!! and there was the ashtray on the unit. The room itself was dated and dingy although clean, my friend had a room a few doors down from me...

Stayed here for the first time between Christmas and new year Very spacious hotel and a grand exterior. Location perfect and staff friendly. (Quite international). I had nothing to complain about and that for me is unusual. One point I have to make no air conditioning so winter fine. Summer not sure. Quality of other guests fair.

This is an average hotel which one day would have had a sense of grand about it. It has a lovely central staircase. It has a couple of restaurants and I ate at the overstuffed pizza. Nice homemade food however it's dirty. The tables all have remnants of food and could do with a wipe considering your eating pizza with...

I'll start with the 3 positives. Great location Friendly staff. Great shower. Checked in at 4pm by a lovely girl who gave us a room with a window which apparently we hadn't booked. 2 single beds which had clearly been repaired on a few occasions and actually tilted. Room was clean but the standard wasn't very good and desperately needs...

We were not pleased with the hotel itself as we encountered a few issues. However, I gave it 3 stars as the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and it was clean. The first room we were in for the first night had no hot water at all. It was not ice cold, but not warm enough shower...

I know some folks rant and rave about how dated , how old, how "Un-modern" the Hotel is but like all Britannia properties, yes they are older hotels but they are re- fitting and renovating them little by little, This doesn't detract from the fact that when you stay there, the staff are very courteous and friendly, the rooms are...

This is, simply put, the worst hotel nightmare I have ever had the unfortunate dis-privilege to experience. Dirty interiors, dirty rooms with dates decor dating back no less than 20 years, horrid 2 piece school-project-type bed and to top it off, an analog tv! For £120pn this is simply not acceptable (see nearly Hilton DoubleTree priced at similar rates). Nor...
