Staff initially annoyed me by demanding photo ID when I checked in, saying it was their company policy!!!??! Room was very basic when paid top price (£109 and DIDN'T include breakfast!!!), and hated the place, and everything about it (very chavtastic clientele!).Room had horrible view, and was unbearably hot on a mild day, but I was off out to a...

Accommodation ok but £10.50 for a mediocre breakfast!! Ok if you enjoy a fry up but if you prefer fruit, danishes etc then forget it! I recently stayed in a hotel in the arctic circle where we were warned that fresh produce was in short supply.....they put the Britannia to shame!!!

I with my wife for a midweek break. As we went to our executive suit the smell in the Corridor was really bad as a very smelly bag was in the ironing room. I informed reception and nothing was done. So when we left our room we told the receptionist who then told us to report it to the restaurant...

Dinner was the worst meal we've had for a long time. Buffet but very small choice- bad ingredients overcooked and the serving spoons too hot to touch. Should meat balls be so glutinous that they stick to your teeth? We were served a bread bun each. One was so stale and hard that when my husband rapped it hard on...

It was cheap and I now know why, I have posted some photos showing the stains in the room. Totally disgusting, there were a number of air crew staying in the hotel, I felt sorry for them if that is the standard of accommodation their airlines book for them. Food was poor at best, with bread rolls being put out...

We came here as a group of four and chose this hotel purely because it had an onsite nightclub advertised.... WELL imagine my horror to drive all this way to be told by two laughing staff that the nightclub closed months ago? I feel so betrayed and as a result I don't think I can ever visit Manchester again.

Tired, jaded, and dirty - just what we needed after a four hour drive up from that London. No real redeeming, receptionists disengaged and disinterested. Bedroom was okay and comfortable, but TV tiny for the size of the room and the bathroom hadn't been touched since about 1982.....never seen so much silicone over silicone, over silicone.....and bathroom that makes you...

We stayed here and left the car whilst we flew from Manchester. The rooms were clean and tidy and the service was good, and the rate was good. So all in all enjoyable. There was a big car park with loads of space and restaurants close by.
