Not a place I would recommend, it was cheap but unfortunately it did seem like a hotel in need of up dating. Walls were quite thin could hear the couple next door going at it all night. Other than that the room was OK.The staff were very good. Breakfast was good but let down by tired looking chairs and general...

(See my previous review of 19 Jan 2016) This time we had no problems at all staying at the Country House Hotel. That may have been partly because it was much quieter, being well after the Christmas period. For less than £200 we were able to stay overnight and park the car for 34 days - excellent value. The double...

We booked this as it was close to a party venue and we thought it would be nice to have a night away. The hotel outside the rooms looks nice but as soon as you enter your room, you're greeted with problems straight away. The carpet was worn, the shower was powerful but the head itself was covered in grime...

We checked in at 3.15pm on new years eve for one night, two adults and two children, all looking forward to a short spa break, the children were particularly keen to have a swim, only to be told that the Spa facilities closed at 4pm and wouldn't open again until Jan 2nd. We decided to make the most of things...

Visited recently for a night before our flight, parked car here for two weeks, pleased with the service. The decor and carpets may not be the smartest but for the price you pay you dont expect 5*. The spa is good and the staff there are lovely. The pizzas are delicious from the restaurant and are half price early evening....

We stayed here for one night, it is a big rambling place that has seen much better times. Carpets are worn and also dirty not just with ingrained muck but also surface dirt that simply need a hoover. The wi-fi worked great on the corridor but not at all in the rooms. We had an excellent pizza in the pizza...

Stayed at the Britannia as a close location to Manchester Airport. Hotel is rather okay, some parts a bit tired and needing TLC. Duvet was in a sorry state. Black marks and stains not very welcoming. Room only has lamps however no actual up lights, a bit odd. Room service was exceptional.

I stayed at this hotel for work in the area. This is the oddest hotel I have possibly stayed in. The room was clean and the check in staff were friendly enough. The rooms are an odd combination of 1920 furniture and 80's glamour. I had a four poster bed in my room which was wonky on one post and a...
