This must be the friendliest hotel in Manchester with a vibrant gay bar and mixed customer groups. Staff were excellent and could not do enough to assist customers. Handy for city centre as only a few hundred yards from main stations and ideal for shopping and sight seeing

Nice enough place and ideal for good night out in the gay village. Rooms ok. Pub drinks prices ok but only one toilet so queues were ridiculous. Women were using men's toilets to save queuing. Needs a good clean. Staff nice though and efficient when collecting empty glasses. Overall not a bad pub but needs bit of a refurb.

Stayed here for the Rugby cup final at old trafford as we wanted to sample a night out down canal street after the game . Hotel is cheap and cheerful and you get what you pay for . Our room was basic but clean although the curtain pole fell down on us ! As its above the Rembrant pub we...

Had been on a course locally but the hotel I was staying at (Days Inn - which I would recommend) was full for the last night (I had left booking a room to the last minute), so in need of something quick I booked here - was told someone would be there to meet me - so left my course...

I stayed at this fleepit of a hotel in september and this place needs to be closed down asap. Rooms smell of damp , the constant banging of doors, lack of security, as anyone could get into the other rooms. They give you a coffee/tea tray, but no kettle. I had the unfortunate displease to try the breakfast, and it...

Well what can I say, within 2 hours of us booking in our room had been burgled. Funny seems there was no forced entry and there was 2 locked doors to get through. Police did turn up and take our details where the reporting PC stated it looked like an inside job as they knew exactly what they were lookin...

The first thing to remember is that this annexe to the Rembrandt hotel is situated on Canal Street right in the middle of the gay village in Manchester. Yes it was noisy but it was a Saturday night and you can expect a bit of rowdy behaviour from people having a good time visiting the many pubs and clubs in...

The annex to the main part of the hotel is just across the road on Canel Street. Although this website deals strictly speaking with the hotel it must be said that Manchester whilst it is a good place to visit at night it does turn into one of the most unpleasant cities I have had the misfortune to stay in....
