We recently stayed three nights at the crowne plaza hotel, and having stayed at other IHG hotels numerous times we were expecting the same high standards. However, it was a case of half and half. On the plus side the room was nice, the bar good and the room service was excellent. On the other side the wi-fi was impossible...

Have to say the room, was of exceptional standard and the bed very comfortable. You have a choice of eating in the restaurant or bar area and I have to say the food is sublime! The cost of the food is at such a reasonable price there is no need to venture out to any other eating establishment as this...

Lovely hotel with efficient and very helpful staff. Stayed with 3 friends and we all got our own double bed in 2 adjoining rooms which was brilliant. Had a great evening in the bar, slept like a log and then enjoyed a tasty breakfast before hitting the shops. Perfect.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Manchester City Centre on a Saturday evening, we went to watch Strictly Come Dancing at the Manchester Arena. The hotel is in an excellent location close to the Shudehill tram and bus interchange and the big multi storey car park which serves the Printworks. (Hotel guests get a special rate in the car...

I prepaid on booking.com £90 no breakfast. Central location 2 min walk from Victoria Station, £5 cab ride from Piccadilly Station. It's on the edge of the city Centre. 5 min walk north or west and you'll feel uncomfortable, 5 minutes walk to the east and your right in the middle of the shops and bars. The hotel is very...

Great central location with good links to various transport (tram/bus/train). Particularly worthy choice if you are wishing to explore Manchester’s Northern Quarter and Arndale shopping centre as they will both be on your doorstep.
