This seemed to be the perfect venue for a large gathering of young people for an after-prom party in Manchester, and at first I seemed to right. The apartments themselves were clean and well put together, so nothing wrong there. The true problem lay in the customer service however. We were promised thirty people but the door guard let in...

We arrived on Thursday afternoon in advance of going to see Take That. My mum is currently awaiting a hip replacement so uses a wheelchair instead of walking long distances. There is 5 steps when you first enter the apartment block that use a wheelchair lift, this had unfortunately been broken by previous guests but the man who helped us...

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights for my birthday, we were really looking forward to the central location and seemingly nice pics of the apartments. As we were arriving on a Sunday evening, we contacted the hotel to let them know, as their reception shuts at 4 on a Sunday. The guy on the phone was pleasant...

What a disappointment!! Very over rated. Upon arrival the guy at the desk wished we weren't there. He should be the first to go! Didn't know if we went through the front or back entrance? Apparently it was the front but looked like the back! The room was old and boring! No style at all. Dirt all over stairs, actually...

A group of 7 of us stayed here this weekend in one apartment. There were 2 nice double rooms (one was en suite) and a double bed sofa in the living room. Another single bed had been added to the living room. The bedrooms had black blinds but the living room blinds were white which meant that the bright lights...

Stayed here with 5 other girls for a hen party. Fantastic location, great rooms, loads of space to relax and get ready for a great night out. We will definitely stay again! The Night Porter (Sloth) was lovely, made us feel well looked after and really welcome! A credit to the business!

Apartment was in great location - however the Freezer was so frozen over it could have sank the Titanic! The oven didn't work - and when setting our dissatisfaction this morning at check out the receptionist was more interested in his computer! Advertised free wifi - failed to mention it was only in the reception area - as a bonus...

Awful. Really noisy. Windows that don't shut. Stuffy bedrooms with no tv. Only redeeming factor is the location, but even that means of a morning all you can smell is beer and sick. I stay in Manchester for a week every month for work and always prefer to stay in an apartment hotel. I'd never tried City Stop before so...

These apartments are well situated in the centre but obviously with that comes the inevitable noise. They are clean and tidy but sparse on content. One teaspoon and the said toiletries included were a 2" bottle of hair/bodywash and two little soaps for 6 people so do take your own . This said, they did have a comfy bed and...

Great for big party's like we had. The rooms were clean, comfortable and it was excellent value for money. Fully fitted kitchens that we made the most of on the first night. Rooms need more mirrors though haha! The bathrooms were clean, the beds were comfy and the fact we had ironing boards, washing machines and they give tea and...
