Booked here as we were going to a concert and everywhere else was £100+. Paid around £65 for a double room with breakfast. Strange set up -- room was dated and a bit run down, breakfast was self-service and quite limited. But it was £65 for an OK nights sleep and an OK breakfast. Can't complain.

We stayed here for 1 night after seeing Strictly. We arrived too early to get into our room so we took a bus into Manchester itself which was great there were loads to bus's we could use. The room was adequate, very clean and the breakfast was plentiful. I would stay with them again. Staff very helpful and friendly

We stayed at the accommodation as we went to a concert. The staff were very helpful and friendly but the room could have been a lot better. There was a hole in one wall and cobwebs on the ceiling. The shower had mould and smelt damp. The downstairs was in a lot better state. Breakfast was self service but there...

The room was exactly as described and we slept very well. Breakfast was great, really enjoyed it. I can only say that I would never eat supper here...we had the 6oz STEAK burger....it was a rubbery box patty....no steak

The peace & quiet was wonderful, the breakfast a real banquet with the variety on offer, the boiled eggs were spot on & no rush at all to get finished & get out. The room was simple but a lovely comfy bed & more than enough space in it to walk about made up for that. All the staff were...

Luther King House is a great hotel - they say that you get what you pay for but that's not always true. Here, your money goes a long way. The location has everything, every room has what it needs, but the best thing by far is the customer service. Martin and the kitchen staff and Jackie and team on the...

We stayed for a night here in order to visit the Christmas markets in Manchester. Right on the doorstep to the curry mile in Rusholme. We caught the bus to the city centre for a pound and it took about 30 min, give and take traffic. There are a few bars close to the hotel (10 min walk) but these...

Based on what I experienced during my stay, there are some very unfair reviews on Trip Advisor about the Luther King House. For £32, I got: A very warm room (much appreciated on a cold winter night) A refurbished and spotlessly clean room with ensuite shower and loo, sink, writing desk, cupboard and satellite TV Coffee making facilities and a...
