I do not think the web site represents the hotel, we stayed in room 106 in the main part of the Hotel the lighting was poor two bedside lights and a dim standing light. It was really cold the heating appeared to go of at about 11pm so a cold room become even colder (the big gaps around the windows...

From the first welcome, all the way through the support from the staff and the service at breakfast, this was a really great experience. The room - one of their suites in the separate Cottage - was quite quirky, but was nicely appointed. Breakfast was good and the service quite good. We had stayed at Kings a few months ago...

Stayed here in the spring in the Blockley Suite. Room/bathroom were lovely, as were the other hotel facilities. However, just stayed in November in an ordinary room, and the room was awful. Arrived on a bitterly cold day, but no heating on in room. Even after switching on radiator we eventually had to ask for a portable heater. The room...

This was our first visit to Chipping Campden and we were meeting up with friends who were coming to the area for the weekend. The hotel is perfectly situated for everything, and is also close to Broadway and Stow on the Wold which are lovely Cotswold villages. The minute we stepped in the door at the hotel, we were made...

We stayed at the Kings Hotel for one night with friends and had a lovely time. We stayed in room 101 which has a wonderful wooden 'sleigh bed' in which we had the greatest night's sleep. It faces the neat hotel garden so was very quiet and peaceful. There were plenty of thoughtful extras provided by the hotel for the...

We went to the Kings Hotel having read the great reviews online, all were glowing and very encouraging. Despite a typically relaxed and informal Cotswold atmosphere we were really disappointed with our Sunday lunch. The complimentary bread and starters were good, tasty and enjoyable. The main meal we had was roast beef, the beef was very tough and surrounded by...

My husband and I spent a glorious night at The King's Hotel. Centrally located in the lovely Cotswolds village of Chipping Campden. Our room was something else! We treated ourselves to the best room in the hotel and it was worth it. Fabulous bed, bathroom and service. A dream! The food in the restaurant was delicious, one of the tastiest...

We visited The Kings Hotel, November 2016, we had an excellent time and we would definitely stay again. The food was excellent (although a small menu) the wine list was good and reasonably priced, staff were helpful and knowledgeable and we had a large well furnished, clean room, with an excellent bed. My only major gripe was there was no...

Hotel in good, easy to find location for exploring The Cotswolds. Staff and service overall very good. Dinner menu somewhat limited but food quality and presentation were good. VERY disappointed with the room which was NOT as described on the hotel website. It was in a very noisy location at the top of the stairs where EVERY guest had to...
