A lovely old fashioned pub with a homely friendly atmosphere . The food was varied and plenty of choice. I had the special chicken and leek pie followed by a mixed berry pavlova scrumptious, highly recommended if passing.

Quaint little pub that was very friendly and homely. There was a lovely open fire and our dogs were made very welcome. The food was good and wholesome and plenty of it. We stayed at the caravan site attached and would recommend to anyone who wants a decent well kept pint and a hearty meal. We'll be visiting again!

The staff made us feel like we were locals, so welcoming. We stayed two nights on the cl site. The first night we went in for drinks, a great choice and reasonably priced. The second night we ate-we we're glad we'd booked a table as its very popular. We stayed here a couple of years ago and I've raved about...

We called here whilst staying nearby for an evening meal, we were greeted very warmly and our order was taken quickly. There was plenty on the menu to choose from and the portions were very generous. The atmosphere in the pub was excellent very friendly. The only minor downsides were a fairly limited choice of drinks and on a personal...

Lovely pub, great food, good beer and friendly staff. What's more to want ? Four of us had Sunday lunches and they were excellent. A very quiet beer garden just added to the enjoyment. Would advise getting in before 1pm on a Sunday.
