We just had a main course each, with olives and bread to nibble on. The emphasis is on local ingredients, such as the local chicken in the kiev, and Fleetwood fish in the Fisherman's pie. My butternut squash risotto imaginatively used pea shoots as a salad, and was well-cooked and very tasty. The atmosphere was a little lacking on a...

We enjoyed a meal here with friends & family and overall the food was well presented and tasty although detested the full size leeks with my chicken. Ugh. However the chicken was gorgeous but portion size was a little on the small side considering the price. Staff , all the staff are helpful and polite and a credit to this...

We stayed here just before Christmas and were somewhat disappointed. The staff at The Mill are very friendly and helpful and extremely hard-working, but we felt that our stay was overpriced. The room (no. 17), although looking out on to the canal and open countryside towards Glasson, was very basic. The lack of any carpet or rugs in the room...

So, needed a place to stay overnight whilst on business at Lancaster Uni, the office booked this place instead of the usual travelodge. Result!!! Huge room in a lovely old but modernised building, had the fish pie in the restaurant and was delighted with the service and quality of food. The waiter answered all my questions regarding beer/IPA chioces. The...

Hi, Thank-you for taking the time to review The Mill. That is the downside of an old creaky building and squeaky floor boards. The mill only has a working farm next door and as outside is so very quiet other noises get picked up really easily. Hope to see you again soon. Kind Regards Liz S

Stayed last night for my boyfriends birthday. I was thrilled when I arrived as the location was perfect for me, right in the country away from anything else and right on the canal side. Had a beautiful view of the canal from our Signature Double Room. I took advantage of their current deal of £30 towards food for any hotel...

My partner and I passed The Mill At Condor Green earlier in the year and from then fancied a night away in one of their en suite rooms. My partner found a last minute deal and booked it straight away! The Mill is in the countryside situated on the Lancaster Canal. Its not far from Glasson dock so great for...

Thank-you for taking time to review the Mill. The Mill's team pride themselves on the service that they deliver. We are very pet friendly, and there are only 2 Bedrooms that we allow Pets in as we do appreciate that people have allergies to pet. The same applies to the Restaurants we have one that is completely pet free. The...

A beautiful location and the hotel has recently extended it's facilities. Apart from a few teething problems with the room, the visit was most enjoyable. The staff are warm and friendly and there is a good selection of food and drink.

This is a great pub/ hotel/ restaurant with a good menu consisting of local produce such as Salt Marsh Lamb. I had home made mushroom soup for starter one of the best I have ever tasted. This was followed with a real Lancashire Hotpot very filling and with a great flavour. I would certainly recommend it.

This is a very nice place to stay, our room was lovely, overlooked the canal and was spacious. Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, the omelette and the full English were to a very good standard. We ate in the restaurant one night and the meal was good. All of the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Would stay again if in...
