We were met by James, and Elvis the cat, with coffee and delicious homemade carrot cake on arrival at this lovely guesthouse. The attention to detail is fantastic and the whole place is very tastefully decorated and furnished with a mix of old and new. Our room was very comfortable with large en-suite with a double shower, James provided us...

This was a special w/e away to help celebrate a birthday. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel special. We were greeted like old friends by James, the owner. It was dark, cold and grim outside but the winter chill was chased away with freshly toasted crumpets and a large glass of mulled wine, relaxing lights and...

We'd chosen room 1 on the ground floor which was amazing. The bedroom was massive with lovely large windows overlooking the gardens. The bathroom is amazing...

Throughout the decor is so tasteful with...

A last minute booking and what a fantastic find. Lovely staff, beautiful building/rooms and fantastic breakfast, with a great choice, perfectly cooked and presented. With 5 rooms in total, a small but lovely 'boutique' guest house. Already looking forward to our return!
