It is over 18 months since we last visited the Stork as we are not local and were a little disappointed to find it now under new management with a different menu. We liked coming here when in the area as the menu was different from your average pub with South African dishes and an emphasis on good quality local...

Went for a walk with the family and stumbled across this place. Went in and was lovely clean and welcoming. Menu had a lot of choice. Hubby settled for the cheese and onion pie and myself a jacket potato with prawns. The kids wanted pasta but no pasta on the kids menu. However the lovely waitress said the chef would...

Just on the outskirts of Lancaster on the way to Glasson this pub offers good pub food and a good pint. The seafood platter and ham hock was very good and were washed down with Tomothy Taylor Landlord, perfect

We called in here for Sunday Lunch. It was not our first choice as we had gone out with somewhere else in mind but it was closed. We were very pleasantly surprised. We ordered fish and chips as our main course and got the largest pieces of fish I have seen. Beautifully cooked and presented. The staff were very friendly...

Had 2 amazing meals. The starters, main courses and deserts were excellent! Fantastic value as the courses were large. Additionally the fact that they have a designated gluten free menu was excellent, as my partner suffers from coeliac disease which means she had varied options to choose from, as most pubs don't cater or they give you a book of...

We've visited this place on a number of occasions over the years although I've never written a review (sorry!). We were staying up the road in Thurnham Hall, this place is delightful. Lots of roaring log fires and little snug corners it is delightful. We stayed for food and it was divine! I know most of the food is locally...

Had a nice meal with family, friday night bit quite and lacking in atmosphere, waiters and staff very attentive, just found the drinks expensive, pint of lager and white wine no change from a tenner. Consequently didn't spend much over bar, probably why it was quiet

We finally got round to staying at the place. Welcoming smiles. Sizeable warm room. Comfy bed. Good shower. Friendly staff. Great beers. Nice wine. Hearty breakfast. Caught bus to Lancaster in pub car park.
