Came here today for a drink to watch the rugby which they had advertised on boards outside. No wonder pubs are closing, no real ale!!!!!!, had Guinness they need to clean the lines!!!!!. No white wine, so the barmaid/landlady asked a random rude person to go and get some from the local Spar...... Because its for £10 what an utter...

After watching my favourite band, the legendary UFO, at the Assembly opposite, I wandered into the Avenue. Very friendly barman/landlord with a great attitude played UFO over his music system (despite some of his regulars not being hard rock fans) and it was a great way to end a great night. Would recommend the Avenue to anyone going to watch...

Visited here whilst visiting family in the Midlands and in Leamington Spa. Very basic accommodation quite well decorated throughout. Situated just South of the Towns centre and a short walk to the shopping areas and other Pubs & restaurants. The pub is very poor regarding its range & variety of drinks that are available. We also found the service here...

Rooms were above a busy town pub that closed at 1am(ish). Run by nice people, the rooms however were basic, smokey, and there was a degree of noise from downstairs until about 1am. Breakfast was adequate and we were not rushed out of the room by any certain time.
