Enjoyed a family lunch here and we all thought that it was very good value for money. £12 for 3 course Sunday lunch. Varied menu with plenty of choice. The hotel setting is in beautiful countryside with lovely gardens and ample parking.

The outside is very inviting as it is set in the country - the inside, although dated is charming enough. We came here for lunch and had the 3 course meal for £12. There were lots of courses to choose from and it was excellent value for money. The service was very good. Well worth a visit

No complaints at all about our room, which was spotless and well appointed, if not a bit old fashioned in decor. There was a very small shower cubicle. The kippers for breakfast were superb. No real complaints, but sadly we didn't feel really welcomed by the lady in charge. On arrival it seemed that we were more of a mild...

Just spent a lovely Christmas eve stay at this very nice hotel. We were given an upgraded room which had a Jacuzzi bath and lovely vaulted beamed ceiling. Room was clean and comfortable with all amenities. Not sure about Wi-Fi as did not use during visit. There was a problem initially with the heating due to a boiler issue but...

Visited today with family for lunch. We all chose off the lunch menu which was 2 courses for £9 or 3 courses for £12. There were around 6 choices each for starters, main and dessert so you couldn't beat the value for money. The service from Jose the waiter was fantastic, what a lovely man!! And the surroundings were beautiful....

Beautiful setting, lovely old country mansion, like something from an Agatha Christie novel. Like stepping back in time. Good food, silver service, well impressed. 3 course Christmas menu, £12. I can't wait for a re-visit, and to try the a-la-carte menu.

Came to stay for a wedding. Room is lovely. Good quality bed and nice furnishings. Checkin took a long time as no staff. Wine was of poor quality and over priced. Lounge bar has mid matched furniture and the place needs to hotel inspector!

We opted for the slightly more expensive rooms and were rewarded with old beams, a 4 poster bed and an upstairs bathroom - the rooms are built in an old part of the building with high beamed ceilings. Don't be put off by the small reception booth, food and service both fantastic - especially the well priced evening meals so...

We chose Ferrari`s due to the proximity of The Inn at Whitewell. The hotel seems a bit dated inside but this adds to its character and charm. Our rooms were excellent and well prepared albeit a bit warm! Unusual considering the time of year. The staff were extremely helpful and considerate. The breakfast was excellent and filling. A cracking place...
