We opted for the slightly more expensive rooms and were rewarded with old beams, a 4 poster bed and an upstairs bathroom - the rooms are built in an old part of the building with high beamed ceilings. Don't be put off by the small reception booth, food and service both fantastic - especially the well priced evening meals so... More

We chose Ferrari`s due to the proximity of The Inn at Whitewell. The hotel seems a bit dated inside but this adds to its character and charm. Our rooms were excellent and well prepared albeit a bit warm! Unusual considering the time of year. The staff were extremely helpful and considerate. The breakfast was excellent and filling. A cracking place... More

Because of a communication problem with our booking company, the room we were allocated was not suitable, but the staff quickly rectified this by allowing us to use one of their cottages for the same price. This proved to be a great bonus as we spent the most delightfully comfortable night in this very well appointed warm and cosy cottage.... More

All I wanted was a simple B&B to break my long journey from Ardrossan to Olney (Milton Keynes) but our usual preferred places (Premier Inns) were all fully booked being a Saturday night. So, I took pot luck and used "Booking.com" and chose on price and location. Wow! After some difficulty finding the place (sat-nav essential) we arrived at the... More

Having friends in the area we often visit and are keen to stay in independent, non-chain hotels. My husband searched and Ferraris looked to be just what we were after and most of the recent reviews were good. As we drove down the driveway towards the hotel we were blown away by our find and felt extremely pleased with ourselves.... More

We've stayed at Ferrari Country House three times. Each time has been both special and relaxing. The house has an old Manor House charm, kept in immaculate condition. The house is set in middle of the country, with beautifully manicured gardens, chapel and fish pond. The house can be hire for weddings, including the chapel in the garden (the rotary... More

We stayed here on Friday Night. Set in stunning scenery with lovely well tended grounds, the hotel is clean and there is a warm welcome. Service, as others have said is excellent, as is the food, although I agree with another review that the coffee is not to my taste. We were offered an excellent rate, and accepting our well... More

lovely location very beautiful grounds. A minute from a lovely pub. Greeted immediately and given keys. Request for a bath given. Ordered 2 rooms. Lovely clean and very happy. If I have to give any constructive criticism is that the bar drinks weren't great. We ordered a pint of lager which was really flat, a guinness again not great and... More
